It's a wank draw to be fair. But if we're going win it then we're going have to overcome difficult games

Have to say I'm not over worried about the draw - so far this season we've tended to over achieve against teams in the top half of the table and underachieve against teams in the bottom half. We are also a decent away side at the moment and poorer at home than we have been in previous seasons. So Palace away isn't too bad - could have been worse. This !! Good god from the comments on here we might as well not bother showing up! Besides it's one of the closer grounds to me, so I'm alright Jack I don't think its a shit draw because we can't win...far from it. Its shit simply because it is just about as dull a draw as you could wish for. Shit away end, one of the most difficult grounds in the country to get to, no new ground or opposition to look forward to. Just dull. Very dull.

£15 a ticket and free travel for this one , and if you don't throw your £5 bottles of piss over each other then maybe affordable me thinks !!! Train from Preston less than 40 quid if they announce time and date of the fixture early enough! ;-)

They don't seem enamoured by the draw and they haven't got travel 200 miles to the middle of nowhere to not sit down in a shit seat to get a cricked neck and gbh of the earholes with pubescent fuckwits banging a fucking drum.

This is one that could go either way, however the winner will have a great chance of going a lot further. At least we will not underestimate each other, could be a very good game.

I fancy our chances against them away more than at home. Would've preferred an easier tie though, saying that.

Maybe one of the worst teams to draw! Away to Palace is a really tough game, but on the other hand you'll have to beat them all to win the cup!

I was planning on taking my two eldest boys as they enjoyed the away day experience at Donny but Palace is a shit trip. Still very winnable though.

There's a lot of negativity around but there's every chance we can get a result at Selhurst Park. We beat Everton away, drew against Spurs away, both of whom are probably better sides than Palace. Being away will suit our counter attacking style; being at home will go against their own version of it (which suited them at our place). They were bloody lucky to win at our place just before Christmas IMHO - even the pundits agree on that one, including Pardew himself.
I expect a 0-1 or 1-2. The worst thing will be it's a crap place to get to - unless you live south of London.

There are three rail stations within an easy walk of SP with frequent trains from the centre of London. No free coaches for this one. We'll go by train - IMHO much better than that tedious drive in by coach or car through Croydon.

All the talk of how difficult it is to get to the match reminds me of the recent passing of Jimmy Hill. One of his innovative successes when he managed Coventry was to organize a special supporters train to away matches. There was a man who cared about supporters.

Been many times on train but its still a ball ache in my experience, especially from the part of the world I reside in these days. Biggest challenge, particularly with a 7 year old, is getting across London in time to get a decent train home afterwards. Of all the away games we have, palace is, in my opinion, one of the worst.
