They're really cancelling the top flight fixtures for fucking friendlies over one of the most traditional football weekends of the year?
What a load of shit.

Germany v England. Berlin would be a nice place for a break.

Total bollocks.
People whining about winter break and cutting fixtures; first bloody fixtures to go should be international friendlies.
Total bollocks.

Unbelievable isn't it ?
Easter fixtures were brilliant. Usually only a handful of games left and often promotion and relegation deciders.
I actually preferred the Easter programme over the Christmas one.

Two games a week at the moment - players looking knackered and injury prone across the Prem.
And why? Internationals breaks for inconsequential games.
Wait until the World Cup is held in the middle of the season!!

The home dates this season are very patchy with runs of two games in 4 days then about a month in between games. That could be better without the joy of the much needed international friendly that we all look forward to.
