When we won this we lost the 1st leg of the semi at home and then won at West Ham. This is going to go the same way so get your money on at 20/1.

We are still in the tie, there's no reason we can't go to Anfield, pressure off and absolutely turn it around. Upward battle though.

There's a thread about +ves from last night - this is a massive one. We could lose but we could equally win 2-1.

2-1 would see the tie go to extra time then us go through after 120 mins on away goals. Don't think I'd be able to stomach that extra 30 mins!

I guess the 20/1 to win the thing comprises something like 7/1 for us to somehow escape out of this tie with Liverpool and then about 3/1 for us to beat the winners of Man City and Everton in a one-off pistol shoot at Wembley. That would give you 21/1 so it feels about right. Is it a decent bet, who knows...

We need to tighten up at the back, but I've not given up on this tie. We can turn it around!

It's 20-1 for a reason folks.
That first goal at Anfield will make or break this tie.

Confusing If we draw 1-1 it goes to extra time? If we draw 2-2/3-3 etc we go through on away goals? If we win 2-1 we go through with an aggregate of 2-2 but scoring more away goals?

If we are leading 2-1 at 90 minutes the match will go in to extra time. If the aggregate score is still level after extra time whoever has scored the most away goals wins the tie which would be us since Liverpool have no chance to score any more away goals than the 1 they already have. If we are leading 1-0 at 90 minutes the match goes in to extra time. If we are still leading 1-0 after extra time then since the away goals will both be the same the tie will be settled with a penalty competition.

A home deficit hasn't been turned over at this stage of the league cup since 1987.
But, if you're having a bet, then the 20/1 is much better value than backing us to go through/win on the day.
If (and in my opinion that's a truly massive if) we get through, you could lay it off in the final and guarantee a profit

What are the odds on a Stoke v Man City final again?

What are the odds on a Stoke v Man City final again? Skybet are 9/1 for a Stoke v Citeh final. When Stoke are 10/3 and Citeh 1/2 to win our 2nd legs, that's actually decent value. But obviously that's to qualify. Both of us could win our 2nd legs but still not qualify. Sorry, that's the best I can do.
