Just bought it from Tesco on Bluray - really like the first one, didn't even know there was a second! Fucking brill, something to watch tomorrow night!
Must be half a dozen or more films based on the Rettendon murders of 1995 now??!!

I will get this I think.
Was there ever any credibility given to the theory that these murders were related to the death of that young girl after taking dodgy Ecstasy tabs?

Craig Fairbrass stole the show in the first one.

Craig Fairbrass stole the show in the first one. Totally agree; like he was born to play Pat tate - seen the character played by other actors who just weren't as good, closest was probably Tamer Hassan in Bonded By Blood
fairbrass at his best

So many different theories; not sure anyone but the real killers know, even theories that the police were behind it so desperate as they were to take these guys out
Of course all these different movies, mostly 90% fiction don't help.
Theres quite a few things on Youtube about it all

I met a guy who was in the first one. He was one of the villains in the car in the final scene. He's a jobbing actor in London, mainly does stagework, when he can get it. He had a strong Liverpool accent. When I said that I thought everyone in it had an Essex accent, he said that he was the only one with a Scouse one. I have the DVD but I've never bothered to check.

There is a mini industry that has grown up out of those murders. A new book was out recently with an update....40% of it was a direct cut and paste from a book 5yrs earlier telling the story of one of the blokes close to the three of them. Both books by the same author who has now written (or ghost written) about 5 books on the Essex Gang(s). How much more is there left to say?

Just seen Part 2 today, not a patch on the original. In fairness it was the exploits of Pat and Tony in the later part of part one that made it the film it was, where Carlton was a peripheral figure.
Would like to see a bit more of Carlton's younger days, the ICF, rave scene and doing the doors.

I thought it was rubbish to be honest. The bit where his missus thinks someone is casing the house, he dashes home, then a knock at the door, rushes his wife and kids upstairs...Are you Carlton ...( forgot his name ) yeah...who the fuck are you...snarl snarl...I think I'm your son...Oh well...Come in...here wife kids...come down...heres yr brother.... As if...

As if... I half-expected some horror-style twist where it really wasn't his son. They'd have been better off showing more action in Spain, that could have been really good.
