Liverpool is the biggest game of the season so far. I'm sure MH will do all he can at WBA but personally I would forgive him if he played the U19s as long as our best team is fit, not suspended and rested for Tuesday.

I've got nothing but respect for Tony Pulis! The man took my team back to the highest league after 23 years in the "wilderness"! I Will always be grateful to the man for that! He also established us a solid midtable team! That said MLH has certainly taken us a step further, but a Pulis team at home is always hard to beat! We should really know that! Hard to beat harder to watch rob, he is the definition of marmite . Totaly agree I love Marmite but hate pu........you get the pictue

Give the squad a stretch Satdee and surprise Tone. It will be a high pressure game with all sorts of opportunity for "mishaps" we definitely don't need.
Tuesday is a far more important game. We need our best team available fresh and raring to go. COYMP!

Do we change it against a hoof ball team. What do you reckon. You can't change a winning team, surely not. I would love to see us dick them. It would be the icing on the cake for our great results and performances at Christmas/new year.

Need to rest a few for the Liverpool game. Replace some of the first 11 with those that usually sit on the bench and bring in some of the lads whom been left out in the cold to sit on the bench so we can put them in the shop window.

I Guess MH knows his players best and whether they can handle so many games in such a short period of time. I'd keep the back 4 the same. The problem is I'm not sure anyone coming in would be match fit so it's tricky. If he wants to rest players for Saturday maybe something like
Jack
Bards Ryan Wolli Eric
Van G GCam
Ireland
Walters Diouf Arni

In my opinion, the cup game is an important game where a full strength side needs to be playing. If we get through to a final then it can help with the attraction for the better players in the future. The West Brom game will be more physical and we cant afford any imjuries, so id start with an alternative side for that one.

You just know it don't you. We'll get dragged down to their level and lose 1-0 again won't we.
Please Stoke, please let's not lose to Tone again...

They barely managed to beat us with 9 players (and help from the Ref) last time....there's NO way in the world they should be able to do it again!!!

I just want to put things right and go down there & give them a fair & square 11 v 11 thrashing. Time to give them the royal dicking they're due and stick two fingers up to Tone for his shameless touch line chimp antics.

Although starting the same 11 we did against Man U worked, we definitely looked to be fading before the subs came on, and didn't close down on their players as well in the second half. Bardsley, Wilson, Adam, Van Ginkel, Joselu, Walters, and Diouf could all do well against West Brom. Probably shouldn't start all of them, but it would make sense to me to start 4 and use two of the remaining three as subs so the key midfield and attacking players for the cup tie don't have to go more than 70 minutes.

We have the squad to be able send out a side not what started against Everton and the shit but still perfectly capable of winning the game. We need to rest legs in preparation for Liverpool.

We are 3 points off fifth, It would be criminal to play a weakened side.
However, horses for courses and we may need to play more "physical" players.
My team would be :
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Wolly Pieters
Wheland Cameron
Walters Bojan Arnautovic
Joselu / Diouf

Butland
Johnson Shawcross Wollscheidt Pieters
Cameron Affelay Whelan
Shaq Joselu Arnie

Rest arguably our 3 best players for a match against our former manager? Hmmm.... Nah, you're alright. So you aren't slightly worried about playing a bloke whose suffered with tight hamstrings all season in 4 games in 10 days? Pulis is obviously going to stick a destroyer on Bojan, again it's a lot of games in a short period of time and I don't think playing against WBA will suit him. Perhaps we shouldn't rest Whelan, if Cameron's struggling then rest him instead but I think Charlie's going to have a point to prove after the game at The Brit. Oh and good luck arguing that those three are our best players over Shawcross Butland and Arnie on current form. We don't just have 3 best players we have a fucking team/squad of them now.

For all those years under Pulis the opposition would play into our hands by altering their team to try and match our physicality, and to avoid injury - which I used to find laughable. Now I find myself wondering whether to do it too. It's a tricky decision though. I'd go strong as possible against WBA and Liverpool, then the reserves at Doncaster, resting up for Norwich and Arse at home.

We need to take as many down there as possible now. Any part of the Hawthorns. COME ON STOKE !!!!!! We sold out ages ago. It will be tough again, cynical fouls, set pieces, Roland Rat bawling and screaming from the touchline etc. Hopefully the players have learnt from the home match and rise above it.

The capped one will be playing his usual 4 centre halfs at the back.
I'd play Ireland, Joselu, walters, Adam, van ginkel, diouf and give our main players a rest and keep them injury free for the top match bs lpool

I'd go strong as possible against WBA and Liverpool, then the reserves at Doncaster, resting up for Norwich and Arse at home. Indeed. And we'd be saying that we'd have got under the skin of the opposition before a ball had been kicked due to the changes the'd make. Personally, I wouldn't be advocating any changes if it weren't for the Liverpool game so I'd probably only recommend a couple of changes for this one and go more 'wholesale' when we play Doncaster. I would imagine that the starting XI will be on a total high after the last couple of games and will want to carry on playing regardless so I won't be surprised if Sparky goes for the same team for the 3rd time in a row (barring any injuries/niggles that need to be managed i.e. Cameron and Bojan).

I dread to watch dulis and his clangers... We'll need graft for this lot. Best rest Bojan and Shaq. Bring in any from the bench of MVG, Ireland, Adam, Walters and I'd stick up top a target man. Joselu for me, but could see crouch starting then brought off for Joselu or Diouf as well. We'll need to kill them with passing and possession and get crosses in.
Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Cameron Whelan Walters MVG Arnie Joselu

And how many times did they come unstuck? We pick our best team and hope that they can perform to their potential. End of.
