That video really is brilliant. Seems like Macron have done their homework. Great stuff! Certainly gone to a lot of effort. Judging by what they've presented so far it would suggest they can't afford to mess up and stick to whatever brief they've been given. Personally I reckon a potential money spinner has been missed by not having a crack at a white away shirt along the same lines as our temporary ones. They just look shit hot.

UEFA state that you have to have a panel on the back for striped shirts, maybe we thought we'd be in Europe when it was designed? Shirts were designed and all made in December so being in Europe next season was still a possibility

Love both the kits. ..or at least I did until discovered that God-forsaken panel It's the only deal-breaker I have, and it completely destroys the whole feel of the kit. I think I'm in a minority. I actually like the panel. In the past its just been fudged in but this one looks it's part of the design, and some actual attention has been given to it. Bob on for me

What is key about the panel for me as well as it looking good is that it is white, that shirt is clearly white with red stripes, how it should be!

Bloody stylish bastards aren't they them Italians, I'd have never have thought Macron would make my favourite home and away top of our Premier League years. Both are spot on; simple, classic, well thought out.
Well done Macron.. Just don't buy a home shirt without a name and number on the back as it might look a bit crap!!!

What is key about the panel for me as well as it looking good is that it is white, that shirt is clearly white with red stripes, how it should be! That is EXACTLY what I thought as soon as I saw the panel. That was the biggest thing (of many) that really annoyed me about the Cup Final shirt - it was clearly a red shirt with white stripes whereas I have always thought wetraditionally have a white shirt with red stripes and that is what this home hit is. I like the home shirt - I'd prefer no panel but I understand the reasons for it - if we had got into Europe we'd have been unable to wear a striped back and I'm not going to knock the club for being optimistic. I think I'll have the number 7 put on the back of mine - I like the idea of the numbers in red. The away kit is fantastic to my eyes. Only the 150th anniversary shirt is better in recent years. All in all I have to say a big "Well Done" to Macron. For a first effort they've impressed me - if they can build on this effort in future years, I'm glad we have signed a long contract with them.

Looks like they is some kind of tribal pattern around the badge of the away tops Edit - just realised it was an 'S'' Yeah apparently that S was the badge on the Stoke Ramblers kit

they look good. i personally think that Macron have taken on baord a lot of history, fan expectations (and club necessity's), added a touch of italian flair, and produced a couple of kits that do look good.
is the training gear had a similar launch?

From the video you see a couple of players wearing a zip up jacket, looked well smart.

The fudged numbers and letters we had to contend with on the home kit during the Europa campaign were awful. This is clearly better and actually for once we've thought about it. Yes we've missed out on Europe but there's no shame in shooting for the stars. Both kits look good to me and I find its the little details which add up to making the kit look good. Clearly adding some blue into the kit whilst traditionally isn't our colour does link the shirt with the badge a bit better.

I thought the worst when I heard macron was making the kit but they look fantastic Also the conspiracy theorist in me thinks its promising that Arnie was in the kit launch but why was Butland not doing it Yes I noticed this too, maybe filmed at about the time of his injury?

Both the shirts looks fantastic. Day One purchase for me. I was worried about a panel but the white panel looks fantastic on the shirt, well thought out, and not shoehorned in. Might treat myself to both shirts this year

Love the away kit. Jury's out on the home kit. I like the fact they've tried to go retro, I just don't like how they've gone about it. The panel seems to be too big.

If you have name and number on the kit, its no problem.
If you don't, I don't like it.
My opinion is irrelevant though as I haven't bought a kit, home or away, for 10 years at least.
The shorts look good and the strips look nice. My kids will have them both, with names and numbers, so no arguments from me.
They look great and the tracksuit top, which I'm more likely to buy myself, looked great.
If the kids sizing is good, unlike new balance and warrior, everyone should be happy.
The other option, I suppose, would be to have the replica kits with no panel and the team kit with the panel. Suppose people would then moan that they aren't wearing the same as the players

Would I be taking too much of a risk if I had this name on my shirt when I buy it on the 14th of this month?

Can't be doing with that silly diving 'goalkeepr' (is it?) logo bollox on the shoulders on all Maxron kits.
Far too unsubtle for me.
That aside, they have made some very nice kits elsewhere so all the knicker wetting and sports direct bargain bin talk was perhaps unjustified.
Understatement is the way fwd. In fact, I thought I saw the ladeeeys one had a far more subtle version of same on the shoulder?
Like the home. Less enamoured of the away but by no means an ansels purple mash.
Throw in a classic & predominantly white with the blue / black (?) and red sash for the third kit and the job's a good 'un.
Share the concern re the panel, not least 'cos it means ano whatever £ to fill it with whoever's name & no on the back.
9/10
How much will they be?
