Just prepped mine, cause MrsBath isn't a great fan & neithers her family, so if I didn't buy them, she wouldn't bother. My 4yr old daughter loves'em. I like them boiled in salty water & loads of gravy on'em. How about you...

They're big'uns this year. Apparently due to the mild weather. I'm on fire today. Gonna be quite the raconteur down the pub later!!!

Pop the sprouts in boiling water(with a teaspoon of sugar in it) for one minute then leave to cool for five minutes.
Nice and crispy.
Job done.

I love them, and not just at Christmas, best way is in half, stir fried with Garlic, ginger, soy sauce and honey.
Prepped mine earlier, can't do the sugar thing as mother in law is diabetic, well actually .............

Sprouts contain sulphorafane which is anticarcinogenic but is destroyed by boiling. Best to stir fry then. Also an excellent source of vitamin C and K. Sprouts also have a relatively (to other vegetables) high level of protein. Sprouts honey & ginger sounds delicious. Might I recommend too..mushrooms fried in a little butter and teaspoon of marmalade. Compliments the dryness of the turkey

You conna even piss in the sink at the match nowadays without someone taking offence. In the Old Days you didn't have to piss in sinks (The old Boothen) you could just piss on the floor. Far less effort. Much more efficient.
