As i will be first time at Britannia Stadium on Saturday, i would like to ask for pubs after the game, where the Stokies celebrate.
Someone recommended me "The White Star".
Any other recommendations?

The White Star isn't by the Brit, it's in Stoke town centre. Also worth a go in Stoke is The Staff of Life & the Glebe on the way up to the train stn...

The Liquor Store (Old Talbot ) has become popular of late due to its plush surroundings,TVs and fantastic beer prices. Staff Of Life, White Star,Wetherspoons,Famous Lion and Glebe and you have a little pub crawl all close together

There's nothing around the ground itself worth drinking in after the game (There are a couple of pubs nearby but you wont get the authentic Stoke experience in any of them) so your best bet is to follow the herd back into Stoke town centre. There you'll have a choice of pubs within shouting distance of eachother, and all will be full & having a sing song after our 6-0 dickin' of The Shit.

This is you best advice, there are no 'real' pubs around the ground, that is the reason for about 50% of the objections to our move there from the old Victoria Ground which was in the town. So make the effort to get in to the Town and there you will feel the LOVE!!

This fucking thread, man The fella has asked where he can go AFTER the match, and half the replies are people telling him places that are a 5min walk TO the ground before kick-off. These are the same people whose opinions we have to read about how shit 'Enter player X's name here' has played this week. We must have the biggest bunch of divs supporting us ever!

I agree, just started venturing into Town on match days regularly for the first time since we left The Vic and I have to say I really enjoy it, The quality of the pubs in Stoke seems to be improving, had a couple of good nights out there lately on non-footie nights too.

Heron Cross has the railway, gets really busy before games and after. Not far from the ground, walking distance. Or catch the bus from outside the ground into Stoke town where you have multiple pubs to choose from. Of which I'd suggest the Glebe. Cracking little pub full of atmosphere and character. Or if you're into real ale try the white star also in stoke town.

Swinging a glass above your head without a handle to grip, is like having a pee without opening your flies...messy!
