Terry Conroy.
1976 (I think?) A 1-1 draw at home against QPR. Stood on the open Stoke end.

You've got me there I can't remember, I used to get carried in the ground from age 3 or 4 onward (circa 1966), that way they didn't have to pay for me. I got too heavy for my dad and granddad by the time I was aged 24 though, and I had to start paying.

Sean Haselgrave April 74 in a 1-0 win over Spurs.
First game, first goal, first win.
(I did need the superb Stoke City Encyclopedia to confirm the scorer - my memory says it was John Ritchie. Shows my memory is not to be trusted!).

Gareth Evans, October 1990. Was that his diving header at Bolton mate, great mental on The Normid end? We had him on loan from Hibs i think. No mate, meaningless goal in a dead rubber Rumbelows Cup game against West Ham.

No idea.
My first game would've been around 62/63, my Dad started my indoctrination early, I have very vague memories of sitting on the wall in the paddock but that's about it.

Viv Busby in that fateful game v Blyth Spartans. Did you have to bring that up? Mine was Jimmy McElroy 1st game v Spurs after promotion in 63.

A Lee Chapman goal on the 25th January 1981 in a 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers at the Corbet Field in Guernsey. It was FA Cup 4th round weekend and as both teams were out of the cup they decided to take a break and play a friendly in guernsey as did a lot of other teams back in the day.
My first ever Stoke goal I saw in a league match was by Graham Shaw in a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on a Easter Monday 1988 at the Victoria Ground in a old division 2 match.

Gareth Evans, October 1990. That's one of my best memories growing up as a lad. I used to try and create that diving header across forest park. Me dad used laugh at me and say come on son your 29 grow up eh

Ritchie did score a couple but the first was scored by Keith Bebbington. The 4th was Peter Dobing. The crowd was very decent - 37,279. That looks like a good season to have started watching Stoke - we were scoring plenty of goals (conceding a few as well mind). Last two home games of the season 3-1 wins v Man Utd Liverpool plus a 9-1 win against Ipswich.

Peter Thorne against Bournemouth in 2000. First Stoke-goal on telly was scored by Lee Chapman against Everton in 1980.
