I do feel for the vale fans but for the grace of st peter of coates we could have fallen in times like they have. I have family members who are vale fans who i have a great relationship with they dont like stoke i dont like vale but its been the source of great debate discussion and ridicule on both parts over the years, i would much rather vale stayed in business and they got to support the club they love than they go out in a heap and a few hundred plastic supporters swap sides to see premier league football (gerald pratt). I know some one will harp on about the bile of the 90s well i was there and it was both sides on harping on about previous glory and one trying to climb to the top, no more than we would have done and do now in our new found glory. At the end of the day the majority of both clubs supporters will probably hate each other but id rather they were there to hate than disappear altogether.

Smurfwaite beaten up last year by 3 fans according to Sentnul. That's part of reason he's selling up. Where was the other half of the fan-base ?

Let`s get this right , a bloke from the north east has been in touch with vale supporters club regarding the purchase of Port vale. They have told the bloke to get in touch with Smurf. Is this not what he should have done in the first place? Sounds like bullshit to me or a wind up.

So, a businessman with no connection to the club or the area is interested in buying the club off the current businessman owner who has no connection with the club or the area, who has been ousted by discontented fans, having bought the club following allegedly fraudulent dealings of the previous board, who were formed out of a fan-owned collective who were ousted by discontented fans, having taken over from a previous local businessman who was ousted by discontented fans.
There's no way this can't end well this time.

But who can really deny them their little bit of pride, they haven't really got much to be proud of, except beating Spurs in the FA Cup once.... That's about it. They're not just a small time club with small time fans, they're worse than amateur. I can't say that there's anything likeable about them. Oh, and as for our boring and unimaginative badge, it's also a Premier League badge !!

Does getting tonked at The Sty by what would turn out to be Manchester United's golden generation "class of 92" team including Beckham and co, qualify as success ?? That result was even funnier after the Fail moaned, complained and whined that The Shit weren't bringing their star players.... All hail the mighty Fail !!

Port Fail are the footballing equivalent of a skin tag. You know they're there, slightly irritating, not nice to look at and serve no obvious purpose.
