I'm getting a bit giddy from excitement but here goes:
Butland looked better than Hart Cameron and Whelan looked a natural defensive midfield partnership Bojan and Arnie are almost telepathic Shaq arrived Affelay arrived Wolly had another clean strip Ryan further stated his claim to legend status Johnson showed he is the best English right back.....
I really could go on....

Top level game today. Thought Aff was superb. Eric is class. Need to watch MOD to see how far ahead of them we were

I really hope we turn up at West ham next week, blow them away and it sets us up nicely for an assault on the top 6

Bojan and Arnie have such a good understanding, they are both naturally gifted footballers and are on the same wavelength. We're talking about Bojan in the 'false no 9' position but Arnie and Bojan switched so much today I wasn't sure which one was the false no 9. Excellent from Hughesy

Ha Ha, soon we will have false no 9s that are really no 9s, but are really false no 9s. (but can switch to being real/false no 9s). Ask Bayern, he knows all about this football stuff.

Hughes has worked out what his best team is? (Tin hat on) That we have a team that can adapt to different tactics and not be one trick (formation) ponies.

It'll be interesting to see how it pans out won't it? I'm not convinced that that formation (and that personnel) wouldn't work at home to Watford or away at Sunderland.

We have a plan B. Best I have seen Stoke in years!
We put together two halves of great football. We have played like that a few times for the first half and then faded. I think I'll just hibernate till next weekend.

Pieters had his best game in a Stoke shirt. Pieters gets overlooked sometimes, but he is solid and was fantastic yesterday. Glad you mentioned him Paul.

I had such a good day yesterday, and I thought the whole team was immense. I know MOTM went to Shaqiri/Arnie, but for me Eric Pieters was absolutely superb. Not only doing his job at left back, but really attacking down the left. And his crossing is really quite good now.
Eric Pieters down the left hand side!

To see only once a year a performance of the trio Shaqiri/Bojan/Arni it´s worth to switch on the TV set every week.

Hughes has worked out what his best team is? (Tin hat on) I think we saw the team yesterday that Hughes has been building towards since he came here. Only the players form, fitness and Hughes's own confidence has held him back. No doubt we'll see different selections and tactics in the future, but I reckon what we saw yesterday was LMH's preferred first eleven.
