Autoglass trophy is STILL the best and only trophy Stoke won during my lifetime. Oh dear. How sad. Never mind. Autoglass and Auto windscreens is all I've seen. And an FA Cup final. I don't feel sorry or embarrassed at that fact as all 3 were fantastic experiences. Anyone who feels they are superior to us who weren't even around when we won the League Cup can take their faces for a steaming shit. I thought we were one, Via Unita Fortior and all that. Seems some are so old or full of their own importance that they forgot.

Yes, I'm a decade behind you. From memory it was pink in the 1970's and this predated the 1990's (?) rebirth, the tabloid Green Un.
Could be wrong though - the ageing process and alcohol have addled my brain...
Maybe Lakeland could help?

Autoglass trophy is STILL the best and only trophy Stoke won during my lifetime. Did you die, and be resurrected either side of the Auto Windscreen win? ????

In the days when it was 'The Evening Sentinel', they brought out an early edition called the 'Football Final Edition', which came out as quickly as possible after the games ended. They were amazing. A fleet of vans used to speed from the printing room and drop off bales of the early edition at every newsagent, where there was always a queue of blokes waiting to get one. It was a brilliant read and it put to shame the stuff they churn out now. Stoke didn't always make the headlines. The Vale side of the 50's, when they were in the Third Divison North, also got a load of coverage, especially during their cup matches of the 53/54 season when they reached the semi-final of the FA Cup. Now don't giggle, but The Fail attendance for the Blackpool home game in that cup was 42,000! I know because I was there, and that was because most nogger fans back in those days supported both clubs. I can't recall a 'Pink 'un', but I do recall a 'Green 'un' edition that replaced the the 'Football Final Edition'. OS.

The other day it said the last time we won away to Sunderland was in 1982. Muni will be happy with that
