I've been using StarStreams but are you on something like Turk Sports? No mate - Phoenix has really upped its game on matchdays with a specific live games section (its the NBC Live Extra streams - all of them!), and Woodys streams are back as well inside the Phoenix 'group' I put an all in one solution overlaying my Kodi (look up Andys Build online) - it puts every channel you would ever need and more (films and tv) as well - even a built in Karaoke system with all Sunfly and others for free! (thats Christmas Day sorted with the family lol) Hi Robo. If you can access NBC Live Extra, you should be able to get all the PL matches. Those not on NBC Live Extra should be on NBCSHD, USA or regular NBC (the US has come a long way - sometimes actualy shows the late game on network TV (12:30 here) at the same time as College Football on Saturday or NFL on Sunday). No longer a fringe sport!

Great news for anyone that hates Murdochs power. Also News Corp newspaper business is going down the drain due to free online news being available. The Sun has finally just removed its stupid paywall because they were losing the battle Would love to see his empire failing before his very eyes. Hes an old fashioned megolomaniac and just cant keep up with all the new technologies that are undercutting his margins everywhere Great init? Murdoch is also in trouble in the US too. They lost PL to NBC whose coverage is much better - all games available. I can watch 5 x 9 AM (3 PM) games at once (I need to get a life) - iPhone, iPad, 2 PCs, and one TV.

NBC Sport Extra app alas only works via a VPN connection - have used it but it was a bit slow bouncing off some server in the States :-)
The Phoenix ones (and I guess Robocop) are the same feeds though.

I would imagine most of the disconnects arent to do with CL footy, but more to do with a) the fees increasing despite the offering shrinking b) people are generally savvy enough now to be able to watch football in many (cough) media sources c) there is also an overload of football on TV - far too much! Android boxes in particular on eBay are very popular for newbies (even though you can do all that for free on a PC/Laptop/Adroid device with Kodi) Currently (know it will end) I am able to watch pretty much any game Sat/Sun in glorious HD - Stoke games have been quality all season (I watched Saturdays game in HD via 4G in a Wacky Warehouse on my Android tablet!)) - its becoming very easy to do - I reckon I could explain how to set it up in 15 minutes to a novice. We get BT Sport free for now (will be charged at £10 soon), but I wont pay for it, firstly because the coverage is crap, and secondly I can watch it elsewhere in decent quality. Wouldnt cancel Sky though as I love my cricket, golf and darts as well as the footy (and the F1 coverage is excellent) My mates just had an Amazon Firestick and I went around his for the Southampton game and he had it on his tv in virtually hd quality. You couldn't tell it was a stream. Quality was absolutely superb. I'm sure he had to install something as well as having the firestick but whatever it is, I'm investing in one and he's going to install it and set it up for me.

Could be an interesting story to watch over the next few years? Wonder if losing Champions League is only factor or if other factors are at work and could be bubble bursting? I'm very sceptical of this. I haven't seen it reported anywhere and who the fuck is Richard Wilson

I'm genuinely amazed that any more than aany (relative) handful of people were ever signed up for Sky Sports just for the CL. Who cares? I'm more interested in their various European domestic league football coverage and their monopoly on live cricket. Haven't BT secured the rights for the next Ashes in Australia.

Good point! 2 o'clock in the morning test matches won't get as much of an audience as a home tests, though.

If sky pull out of football because they lose to much money ,then it will not matter what steams or boxes people have if there's no tv then there's nothing to watch.Which will put the paying fan back in charge of the game.

Sky recently presented their first quarter earnings to end of September and no mention of any subscriber loss. UK subscriber numbers went up by 77,000. These net new subscribers would not all take Sky Sports but pretty sure they would have had to alert investors to a loss of 25% of their premium customers. Have to see some proper data to believe this story

I cant believe this story, but I know that Sky is an absolute rip off and I hope one day they drown in their own vomit.
Football will be better off without them.

Fuck Sky and fuck Murdoch, anything that hurts Murdoch and his evil empire is a good thing. No way does football need such a ludicrous amount of money in it, and if people are realising it's a mug's game to hand over all that money to Sky then perhaps it might help reduce the ridiculous excess.
As long as ISPs don't start doing in the UK what they're doing in the US now which is to charge insane amounts to their subscribers for bandwidth use over a low minimum (which costs them almost nothing) to make up for a loss in TV subscribers.
