Amsterdam is a good safe bet, dead easy to get to, either flying or ferry, can be cheap, and lots to do other than booze and fanny...

Went to Wroclaw in Poland on a stag do in October. It was brilliant. Cheap flights from Liverpool, cheap 5* hostel cost us £27 each for 2 nights and everything was in a big square a short walk away. Really cheap and less touristy, in fact not touristy at all. Loads of bars selling cheap beers and 2 strip clubs. Can't go wrong

Budapest isn't all it's cracked up to be, it's cheap but I think it's pretty underwhelming having been the past two summers. The Hungarians can be very, very unfriendly. Did a lot of Europe on the trains in the summer, Berlin is class but not really for a stag do. Munich is alright but there are better places, it reminds me of Manchester too much. Prague is excellent, decent clubs that you can find with a bit of research and cheap food and beer. If you avoid the old town you can get a beer for 80p-£1.50 but even so, I watched Liverpool vs Bournemouth on a Monday night in a bar called Dubliners in the Old Town and that was still £3 for a Guinness. Just don't do all the typical stag do shit, like really lame t shirts. They'll see you coming a mile off and you'll end up having a terrible time. It's a lovely place as well and I can give you details off the hostel I stayed in, it was unbelievable more like a hotel with an indoor pool and all sorts at only £8 a night. If you're feeling adventurous a combination of Warsaw/Kraków would be my choice. You can get a super cheap train between the two cities that takes a couple of hours. Warsaw is unbelievably nice, so up and coming and clean. Beer is consistently cheap even in the most swanky places. I watched our first game of the season in a very nice bar, was there all day had about 8 pints and a meal and spent about £25! Kraków is so much nicer than I expected as well and you can have a right good knees up there but again just don't do the whole stag do shit because you'll have an empty wallet. Polish women are unbelievable as well, 9 out of 10 of them are fit. Barcelona is class I'm not sure what it would be like for a stag do though, I went to specific clubs for specific music that I wanted to see. Got the beach though and the city life so a bit of everything. Dublin is outstanding. You simply cannot have a bad time there. Me and my mates went for St. Patrick's this year and have booked up for next March as well. Literally the most fun I have had on the piss in my life I think. It's not that expensive, once you take into consideration the exchange rate it's not that different from London. Don't go to Amsterdam! Budapest was good, depends what you want, we did the train from Budapest to Brno for a night and then the train to prague for a couple of nights, Prague was good if as you say you get off the main tourist bits, we went off to a shooting range about 30km away, 10 different guns in the package then an uzi at the end for an extra 10 euros I just never really warmed to it. A day visit to Lidice is a must for any Stokie when in Prague!

Piss up and guns. Sounds like fun. Might ask my boss if he fancies it for a Christmas do.

I was in Krakow in October (not for a stag do, but apparently it is popular for these). Cheap to get there, cheap to stay there, cheap to eat and drink (and I mean cheap). Lots of bars and restaurants. Polish people are very friendly, all seem to speak good English, and loads of attractive totty . Couldn't fault it. Remember that the Poles invented vodka, as well . Less of a cliche than Prague, perhaps. I have heard similarly good reports of Posnan, as well. It will be bloody freezing in February, though.

Lisbon, went this summer for a mates 30th birthday. It's a proper sociable city, walking around the old streets where all the bars are you can walk in and out of each bar freely, taking your drinks with you. We were buying drinks in the quiet bars then walking next door or across the road where there was more of an atmosphere. The portugese people were brilliant, we spent all saturday afternoon drinking by the estuary which was excellent. It's not too dear either, most places we were getting two drinks for five euros max.
I really want to go back Fri-Sun wasn't long enough!

Have been to a few Eastern European places and they are pretty cheap and the women are all beautiful (maybe it is the cheap booze) although I don't remember Prague being that cheap. If you do go to Krakow though, go to Auschwitz as well. Me and our mates had two days on the piss and when we woke on the Sunday, the hangover was immense. Thought we would take the last day easy and then bumped into a taxi driver who asked if we would like to go. Realizing that we were still half cooked and trying to work out the feller we decided to take a chance and he wanted, I think about 40 euro each. That was for the day and him waiting to take us back which he did. 6hrs in total. He sorted everything. My hangover soon went when we got there. The most powerful place I have ever been to and it may seem like a downer on a stag do ( we weren't there for a stag ) but I assure you it will be a proper memory for you. It's a place you can't go back to but if you get the chance, go. It is really something to see before you die.
