It's a weird fact that these 2 haven't been on the pitch together for a single minute this season.
Is that worrying or encouraging? When they eventually start together (as surely they must) will they take time to strike up a proper partnership? We are 13 games in already...
Or does it just mean there really is 'more to come' from this amazingly talented squad? Everyone at the club seems on board with the idea, I've heard it from the manager the players and the fans especially after Southampton. More to come and we've just beaten last seasons media darlings away. Could have been 3 of 4. So when will sky, the BBC and the papers catch up?
I think if we can make a mark against City and United in the home fixtures we are in serious danger of becoming trendy with the media. Actually feels dirty saying it.

Ive never seen them in a room together & think that they are one & the same person. It's pretty obvious

I definitely think there's more to come. You can't fault the job SJW has done for us this season but a fully fit and ready Diouf at the head of our attack is an exciting prospect.

How many times have Bojan and Diouf actually played together with them both playing in their best positions?
Struggling to think of many. Must be less than 5?

One instance that I can recall is away at Tottenham last season where both players got on the score sheet.
Diouf's movement and pace coupled with Bojan's ability to pick a pass and clever link up play ripped Spurs apart last season.

City and United - who are these teams of which you speak? From your user name I'd guess that United are Sheffield United - but who are City? Exeter City, Swansea City - or even us, perhaps?

You are right though Actually I don't blame the clubs. Some fans of every club with City or United as part of their name, use simply the word City or United when talking about their club. I blame the media. I can even understand how and why the media started to adopt the word United. Manchester United were simply a biggish Northern Club pre the 1950s. Then we had (over the next 30 or 40 years) the Busby Babes, the Munich disaster, European Cups, class of '92,a world wide fan base etc. etc. Much as I dislike Man Utd, I don't blame them for cashing in on their post war history and I can understand (even though I hate) why the media adopted "United" as shorthand for Manchester United. What I don't understand is why the National media decided to adopt "City" as shorthand for Manchester City. It might have made some sort of sense once Arab money elevated them into one of the richest clubs in the world. But the media were calling them "City" - as if no other club called City existed - when they were tussling with us to try (and fail) to avoid relegation to the 3rd tier of English football. It is an insult to every other club with City after its name - from Exeter to Swansea to Stoke.

They're just a Town in disguise. And the thought of Diouf running defences ragged and opening up space for Bojan to exploit is a scintillating thought.

We're just a town in disguise ourselves - although we became a city long before Swansea.

It is an insult to every other club with City after its name - from Exeter to Swansea to Stoke. It is the fault of Manchester City themselves. I think they play up to just "City" now because "United" became so universally accepted. They drop the Manchester part on purpose which is a bit sad really. Don't know if you watch Sky but even the stadium announcer did it when they played Liverpool on Sunday as the teams walked on. It can come across a bit contrived but if we had for instance a Stoke United based in Burslem instead of Vale we would probably do the same thing!
