Just returned from visiting friends in Drogheda.Whilst drinking copious amounts of Guinness it dawned on me that the pub was full of Liverpool and shit fans.
Are there any Stokies in Drogheda area.

Liverpool and Manchester had a sizable Irish expat community at one point and both clubs have Catholic links but Stoke on Trent has no such connections with Ireland so bar the odd token Irish fan I can't see us being well represented in the RIO

I used to think I was the only one in Cork until I met another fanatic last year whilst fuelling the car in my Stoke City coat. Took twenty years to find each other and now firm friends. Both of us born in Stoke though.

Our Irish representation might have pulled the odd fan gee here or there? Liverpool and the shit have huge amounts of Irish supporters.
