None of us can say for definite because we haven't seen anywhere near enough of Wanyama to judge.
What I would say though is Whelan has been in the form of his life for the last couple of seasons and needs a midfield partner,not replacing.

I was going through those stats thinking "Well done Glen" only to discover that the author has got it totally wrong. And, as for the misplaced passes stat, then the lower figure has to be the better result so that's another one in Glen's favour as well.
