would be a great signing but I can't see it happening, diouf and hoss will have to step up and take their chances.

Remy would suit us more than Benteke and £10 million would be a steal

No of course not. The goals have just flown in this season. Look at the date, at the time I didn't think we did. I still don't, however if Remy is available at this price and we can get the rumoured 8 for Diouf we would be stupid not to. Sorry mate, with these old threads re-appearing from nowhere I don't always click that it's a comment from weeks ago when I'm scanning this board on my phone.

He's the answer. Throw £10m at them now, get him signed.
Very clinical, technically brilliant.

It's alright, your not the only one in the thread to do it!! I don't think we need a striker per se. I like the look of Joselu and I like Diouf but if we could get Remy for 10 and sell Diouf for 8 we absolutely have to.

Remy would be an amazing striker specially in our setup, and knows how to score

Diouf brings more to the team overall, but a clinical finisher would be lovely. That said, I don't expect Chelsea to be selling unless they bring in a few. Does he? Its not a dig I'm just curious what you think he brings to the team that Remy wouldn't, apart from pace maybe. Compared to Remy, work rate for one, enough self awareness that he can be dropped to the bench and not make a fuss. If Hughes pushed Remy out to the wing for a few games, reckon he'd take it in good spirits?...

Also I cannot believe Swansea would be stupid enough to let that Ayew go to Blunderland. Now there is a good player!

We need a striker, a young decent right back, centre defensive mid, and maybe some wing cover. edit- centre back wouldn't be bad either Why on earth would a right back be any type of priority now? As OP, I started the thread in jest: Remy had just kept on his feet and had not 'won' a penalty, and I felt that was far more inline with how play the game rather than Chelsea. But he is an excellent striker and would be good here.

Where is all this Remy talk coming from. Remy is on a reported £120k a week at Chelsea, that's £50k above out highest earner, it ain't going to happen

Jos has proven himself, no need to get Remy. We probably need depth on the backline more than anything. Having to play Wilson in Ryan's absence is awful.

Wages and all that. I hope it's true. The fact we would have to sign him or maybe even Van Ginkel then loan Remy makes it seem less likely. But in stoke we trust VIS UNITA FORTIOR!
