Are they looking to give Costa a retrospective ban for the challenge on Skirtle?

Even if they play out of their skin to send a message, the form they've had all season doesn't just turn around straight away.they're not going to go from being a poor side all season so far to the chelsea of last year in the space of a few days.they have no momentum and (for whatever reason) no team spirit with their best player not even performing in any way so far. Don't think it'll make any difference myself

Are they looking to give Costa a reproductive ban for the challenge on Skirtle? a reproductive ban? Isn't that what got eva in trouble with one of the players (allegedly)?

I just don't believe professional footballers would perform so badly as a group to over throw José. You see reports of individuals taking bribes on single matches but this has been going on for months. And even if the players chatted about throwing matches, surely there's going to be some who disagree. Their careers and reputations are on the line, and playing so badly deliberately would jeopardize future transfers too. I think the problem runs deeper, I think the club as a whole has hit the skids and got into a rut & sequence of results it's struggling to turn around.
Although this Chelsea, the scummiest of the lot, so.....

I think some managers lose a dressing room and Mourinho has well and truly lost his. That's as maybe mate, but footballers - top level one's such as those at Chelsea - are selfish & ambitious, I truly can't imagine them jeopardizing their careers for anybody. Besides, their careers and earnings depend on their success. Would they risk the damage one horrendous season could do ?

Imagine the catastrophic results that could have on us as a club.

I don't know if it's as simple as deliberately pissing the season away but a toxic atmosphere can't be a good thing and it's a lot harder to run through walls for a bloke you've lost respect for.

For Stoke Arse game. Bojan's goal was shown on the big screen, but from that camera angle Diouf looked offside. Taylor may disallowed it, because of what was seen on the big screen. This is contrary to the laws of the game. It certainly fooled everyone. The live stream showed the replay of the goal a couple of times then switched to the Arse attacking. The various news channels had the score 4:0 and then later at 4:1. So it was a big surprise when someone at work said the score had gone from 4:1 to 3:2. It was so bizarre that Taylor panicked after his lineman signalled the penalty and Ramsey scored just afterwards. I believe he only sent Chambers off, because if there had been a large in play bet made for a draw or Arse win there could have been an enquiry into match fixing.

Watched em at the weekend....look like a team in big trouble. Press reports suggest senior players conner stand Mourinho. I wonder if they were willing put up with his ego until he fucked Eva off?.
My guess is if we beat em Satdee he's pickin up his cards Satdee night....
Question is, who do they replace him with?
Conner wait fer the game....

It'll make absolutely no difference to us, if his players aren't playing for him they wont play for him whether he's in the dugout or not. Positive results are what will save Mourinho is job, not whether he was stood in the dugout when they achieved a positive result. If they turn in a performance to spite him just because he's not in the dugout, all they've done is strengthen his chances of keeping his job. I'm not sure it works like that. It's a no-win situation for Mourinho. I can't see how winning a football match can be equally as bad to Mourinho as not winning a match. I'd say it is more likely that he will face the axe if they don't beat us on Saturday than it will be if they do beat us. Whether he is in the dugout or not, he will have still trained with the players all week, outlined a game plan and probably passed down information to his coaches during the game and at half time. Like I say, in my opinion if his players do want him gone they are more likely to ensure they lose again than try to win just because he isn't in the dugout. Time will tell I guess though!

Looks to me like he's bored and wants to go. All these mega stars pull the same shit when they want to get out of a contract. Some of what he says is true however but hey Jose you should try being a Stoke fan for a season then you would see real injustice.
I don't expect us to win anyway and tbh they were by far the better side in the cup game with Willian in particular causing us problems.
However it's not always the best technical side that wins and an early goal for us would surely cause them to question their fate again.
Don't think anyone really expects them to go down so for me the game is far more important for us as we are fluttering too close to the sun for comfort, in short a point for us would be a BIG RESULT.
