As from next season. www.abc.net.au/news/2015-11-02/optus-to-broadcast-premier-league-in-australia/6904866Not exactly sure what's going to happen from this stage but Optus, a mobile phone company have won the rights for $50 million a year for the next 3 years and they haven't even got TV channel. So, Joeinoz, your posts from next year are likely to be Stoke vs (insert team name here) Where It's on... On your mobile phone or tablet.

They'll set up online channels like BT did - and they will probably also be made available on Satellite and cable TV - like BT is.

Optus have their own TV. They also bundle with Foxtel. Not sure what this will do to the relation though as Foxtel are 50% owned by Telstra who are the other major telco in Aus. Probably means that Optus can give Foxtel the finger!

They do a Cricket Australia Live Pass using an app. I wonder if we will see a similar kind of thing maybe a PL Live pass?

I wrote this in July when it seemed odds on beIN would get the Aussie rights. www.footballfromafar.com/television-rights-australia/Optus say they will make the Prem available on a wide range of platforms. Not sure what that means specifically. Will all games be live on telly? Will all be on the interweb?
