At home v Chelsea with a very very good chance of progressing.
£20 a ticket.
All the other grounds looked packed in the CO cup.

Nothing was disappointing tonight, one of the best nights of my life. Fuck attendance, nothing compares to the atmosphere during penalties it was fucking theatre

Dunno but it looks shit on the highlights compared to the other games. And -5000 for Chelsea fans

24,866 according to BBC, I'm not disappointed, that's decent in my eyes.

I thought it was a reasonable turn out compared to some cup games. A little better than I was expecting actually.

Fuck attendance
I had a good time, got a drink when I wanted, had a piss without a scrum to get there, and watched the Potters beat the champions of not just England but also defending champions of this cup in an excellent end to end game of exciting football.

Yet there was more noise than most of the home games this season. Attendance is a figure, nothing more, nothing less.

From what I could see from the boothen there was a patch of empty seats on the marstaons side down by the away end and a smaller patch of empty seats on the q railing near the boothen end, other than that though attendance was decent, good turn out for a tuesday night cup game (it was chelsea though i guess).
Also worth noting that the atmosphere was 100x better than saturday, crowd was up for it right from the off, brilliant night :-)

That's not too shabby all told really. I brought a big party of us in the Seddon. Part timers/first timers, half termers and such. Nice to give them the magic of what being a Stokie is all about. Once in, you are in for life!

I'm not convinced £20 is particularly cheap for a cup game. Plus the fact that it's half term and a handful of families with kids are likely to be away.

Once in, you are in for life! i couldn't get there as i'm visiting my brother and his family down south with the kids for half term...never been so glad to palm my 2 girls off on someone else for an evening while i sat in front of my laptop

The crowd were very good, those of us that went - which actually wasn't too bad. And credit for the support for Wilson who showed guts and balls in taking and dispatching his pen. Great effort all round, definitely a memorable match.

In the quarter final of this cup against Man Utd two seasons ago we only got 21,000 so tonight wasn't that bad.
But the atmosphere in extra time was fantastic..Go On Stoke..Mark Hughes Barmy Army..We'll Be With You...Just like the Old Days.

To be fair that's so decent you won't get the premiershits out on a school night

To moan about the attendance is to take much away from the occasion. Those who bothered to show up can give ourselves a pat on the back. Once again, the Stokies gave it their all in making a great atmosphere, helped by the heroics of the boys. A top night, followed by a late one on the juice !!

I have to be honest. I'm finding the M6 a pain in the Arse, or I would have gone. In fact the traffic everywhere is getting on my wick!

Great crowd last night I thought, plenty of new faces, including a group of young Spaniards next to us decked out in their stoke colours, faces painted the lot. To be fair to them they were joining in with every song etc. Great to see!
Stokelona!

Let's just enjoy the fucking fact that we're through, the lads fought like soldiers and that's all that matters. COYP Oh and the crowd were fucking immense.
