Bit like Banks against West Ham in December 1971! Its very similar. Banks' just shades it for me. You have to remember that Geoff Hurst hit that ball as hard as he had ever hit a ball in his life, that's what made it so remarkable. Butland's save will register pretty damn high in our best of compilations though. Wonderful save. |

It's amazing to think that we said goodbye to one of the best keepers we've had in years in Bego, and we don't look any weaker for it with a younger lad more than stepping up. Alongside his professionalism Butland is going to have some career ahead of him; I just hope we get to see as much of it as possible.

To be honest I thought he should have caught it  He's going to be some keeper, i'm also trying to think of when Asmir saved a penalty for us home or away, strange considering how good a keeper he is his record seems quite poor whereas from memory Sorro saved a few. |
