He'll still have the little Englanders and passion merchants absolving him of any blame.
He's one job away from being completely found out for the chancer he is.

As Jesus and Moses are unavailable I suppose it will be another bodged appointment to help us on our way to the championship, in fact if nothings changes at the top I can see our local derbies being Walsall, Vale and Burton soon, depressed, north stand ,Villa park

Villa reportedly in talks with Remi Garde, ex Lyon coach. They might as well of kept Sherwood. Surely getting Moyes in is the only solution?

Moyes could do well there, with expectation suitably low, he could rebuild villa and his reputation in one go.

He'll be at Southend in a couple of years.

He'll be at Southend in a couple of years. Where exactly he should of started to begin with. Cutting your managerial teeth at two of the biggest clubs in the league was always going to be tough, especially at Villa. Nobody knows who makes a good manager these days as they're not in job long enough to find out.

His contempt for the tactical side of the game and habit for taking all of the credit and none of the blame was never going to keep him in a job for long.

Probably not, but there isn't a manager or a player who doesn't back themselves whatever the situation. You also have to question the signings at Villa - are they all Sherwood's? I would guess not. He's lost 3 of his star players and they replaced them with young foreigners. I'm not saying he's a good manager, far from it.
