For me the real problem today was the arrogance of the team. It was as though we just had to turn up to beat Watford. Fortunately the premier league doesn't allow this on any given day any team can beat another that's what makes it the most watched league in the world. So come on Stoke lets starting treating every game like a cup final its what the fans want and deserve. The word 'Arrogance'was used be me a couple of times yesterday. Too many players thinking they were gods gift. Wilson fucked up big style, but why did Butland roll the ball out to him instead of launching it up to Crouch? Managers orders mate, play out from the back at all costs

What really embarrasses me is that if you play football on a Sunday morning and train once a week which is the norm and you make a few stray passes it's still frowned upon but accepted, but when your players who use a football for a living at it's their tool of trade and can't pass the thing a few yards to one of their own players now that's embarrassing!

That is one of the most illogical posts I think I have ever read. So professional footballers have never made mistakes or made mistakes this weekend?

The home form is poor indeed compared to the away form. Not sure this is entirely down to the supporters though. The style of play just makes it all the more frustrating when we don't score and builds up a sense of expectation that makes it 10 times worse when we get rope-a-doped like we used to do to other teams.
Basically we need to make all this sexy attacking pressure count and be more clinical if we are ever going to rise above midtable. We need Diouf back and in time the other forward players will click too. Still very much looking forward to the rest of the season.

One or two yes but in quite a few of our games this season we seem have lost the ability to pass to our own players on many occasions there was one spell yesterday when it was like key stone cops.

I can't say I heard huge amounts of abuse for Wilson at the game and would never boo any of our players myself. The only people who would are idiots and people who started turning up after the bloody cup final. I thought the boos at the end were fucking shitty and out of order considering it's Sparkys 100th game. However, as a supporter, I reserve the right to at least pass judgement after the game on the players performance and in my opinion, we don't concede those goals if Cameron stays on. There were people on the half way line going crazy at him about five minutes after his mistake. I agree with everything you said. Don't mind critical opinion but downright negative bollocks and booing is just not on at all. Absolutely hate it.

The 14000 in the ground are probably the people who were there before the prem, and will be here when we go down, wankers getting up and going on 75 minutes, why bother going to a game when you dont even wait for the result.and dont get me started on booing your own team.appalling u sound like the type who does both.yes youve paid your money.but keep it in your pocket or fcuk off up vale. Can we put this shit to bed, I was one of the 14,000 as were the 5 people I was sat with. We were pissed off, frustrated, annoyed and went after 83 minutes. Not that I or anyone should have to justify there actions. Get off your fucking high horse..... I thought that Butland put Wilson under uneccessary pressure - no need for it.

If you're having a shitter and it is simply not your day, nothing falls your way. Passes, second balls, headers. Anyone who has played competitive sport can understand that. This is what I'm talking about the bigger picture, look how many things went our way on Monday night. It's swings and roundabouts over the course of a season. Easy to praise when we are winning and even easier to moan, it's pathetic and I think it highlights sheer unintelligence and weak character, as well absolute prawn sandwich behaviour.

What are you on about? It's a basic need in football to be able to pass the ball we have been very poor in quite a few games not just yesterday and I just heard Hughes on the radio mention that our passing wasn't up to scratch. Unintelligent? I've been following Stoke since 1979 seen some dire times have played coached and managed so although not quite a professional I think I know a bit about the game.

It's one of the fundamentals of the game good or bad day I expect a footballer who plays in one of the best leagues in the world (open to opinion) to be able to pass the football that's all.

Yourself? It's quite obvious they can all pass a football or Stoke City Football Club would not be one of the top 10 teams in the country. I'm saying yesterday was a terrible performance and when you're having a bad day, interceptions and the like happen more often. You certainly don't need fans saying they can't pass a fucking ball etc. it's just generalised and unnecessarily negative crap.
