Didn't they get charged/investigated for booing the Uefa theme tune that plays prior to kick off last time out? I've absolutely no idea

Ask your lad. He's obsessed with football at the moment but I think this one has escaped him as well. Is it something else their fans have nicked from another club? :-)

No, WD is right. UEFA have charged Man City after their fans booed the Champions League anthem, so this was their response tonight.

Noel Gallagher said on Soccer AM last week that he boos the Champions League theme because the lyrics are cringingly bad.
These are the best teams The very best teams The main event
The masters The best The great teams The champions
A large meeting A great sports event The main event
They are the best(x2) These are the champions
The masters The best The great teams The champions
The masters The best The great teams The champions

Poor N'Zonzi. Two more Champ League games left before Seville are out and he realises he's never going to play Champ League again with Seville.
Bet he's pleased he left us and the best league in the world for being on the bench.

Well at least he got a sniff of Champions League success, even if it was only from Sterlings sweaty socks.

He's got a good view from the bench! Question, would you have him back?

He's got a good view from the bench! Question, would you have him back? At the moment definitely. There is another thread on who to partner Whelan which has an astute reference to Whelan's age. This is definitely an area we are short of long term talent as players are either 30+ or on loan. It would seem very appropriate to re-sign N'Zonzi on a 5 year contract, if he was now amenable to settling his career with Stoke.

Seville is a beautiful city, with many architectural delights, its is the warmest city in europe, the football team is huge with great stadium and support.they have just won 2 europa leagues on the bounce.i love stoke city with a passion it is tattooed on mmy arm and in my heart.but I can fully understand why steven nzonzi went to try his luck in seville, if it works great if not I would never think any less of him.i loved him for stoke and always said his would be huge boots to fill.so far this season I dont think anyones come close

Just wish he hadn't left. It's not going well for him. Such a waste.
