Bit of a shitter wasn't it. It was awful. Ronaldo was awful. Zlatan was awful. The Real back line played well as a unit mind. But yeah, it was dire. I love watching Rinaldo but he was poor. Cavani, another hyper player, Di Maria looked a shadow of himself as well.

Yeah , he looks wasted on the left, baffling really when Zlatan recently has been very poor. Real should do a job on them when Bale and Co are back. Still fancy Barca for it.

N'Zonzi on the bench.
Champ League not quite the same as the Prem eh?
He was a terrific player for us but badly advised.
We miss him and in his quiet moments I bet he misses us.

I dont miss him. Hope i never see the moody french prick again. Moody.....yes. French.....yes. Pr*ck....absolutely not, unless he is guilty of the current charge against him. The guy was great for us and I'd have him back like a shot, if he is not guilty.

The guy was great for us and I'd have him back like a shot, if he is not guilty. No doubt he was a good player when he wasnt in a strop but it's not the first time he's been in the media for doing something stupid. Could be wrong but wasn't it n'zonzi who hit a cyclist and then told them you wont trace me, its registered abroad and drove off? Pretty sure some famous cyclists got involved as well to hunt him down via twitter? Even if he wasn't to blame, driving off was a bit of a prickish thing to do to be fair and the arrogance if he did make that statement (which i fully believe) doesnt reflect well on us!

Our midfield would be stronger with zonzi in it.
So based on that I'd take him back, not that it'll happen.

If NZonzi becomes a long term selection to sit on the bench I think he will inevitably rethink his position. If a return to the Premiership was on the cards and Stoke wanted him I believe that in those circumstances he would jump at the chance and return a better person for having scratched his itch!

Much as I can see the technical argument for bringing N'Zonzi back to the club especially with the players we now have who would be in front of him, there is an old maxim "never go back".

If a return to the Premiership was on the cards and Stoke wanted him I believe that in those circumstances he would jump at the chance and return a better person for having scratched his itch! The saddest thing is that if he came back to the Prem he would end up somewhere like Norwich, Bournemouth or Watford, the sort of teams that he thought he was better than. I don't wish Zonz any unwell in his career but I just think he didn't realise he had it so good

Is it not possible that he's just taking time to settle there just like some of our players are taking time to settle here?

Is it not possible that he's just taking time to settle there just like some of our players are taking time to settle here? Haha. Don't be silly - those laws only apply to current Stoke players. I expect there's a Seville message board with sages telling everyone to stop writing players off so ridiculously soon and that Monchi always gets things right. The fact that he's in a new country, with a new style of football, with a court case hanging over him and, I assume, his family life in complete chaos and his child living in a different country will have no bearing on his form whatsoever. That said, he may well be one of those players who found a club that fit him perfectly, and thought that the grass was greener...

Seriously, what is the point of Raheem Sterling? Could've bagged 5 at the weekend. Hat trick wasn't too bad mind. Assuming you're not trying to wind me up ... Man City haven't spent £40M+ for him to only shine against the likes of Bournemouth. It's nights like last night that they want to see their money's worth and he was abysmal. He was lazy, was hiding for most of the night and made virtually no contribution, other than shinning a ball towards goal which resulted in Man City's equaliser. Watch the winning goal again. If the 'keeper had got a hand to de Bruyne's shot, Sterling would've been nowhere near picking up the loose as he was ambling around on the edge of the 18 yard box picking his arse. And people accuse of Arnie of being idle! Maybe I'm being a bit hard on him and perhaps with experience he'll improve, but I'm not convinced. When you consider that he's one of the players England are pinning their future on then it's little wonder we struggle at international level.

He was definitely overpriced, but we can't hold that against him of course. And he's far from the finished article too. I still think he's a good player with the potential to be very good. At least he hasn't gone there to sit on the bench.

As suspected, it's the Oatcake. Some slagging him off, some saying that the slagging off is affecting his game, some saying he's new and everyone needs to calm down a little. Will be interesting to see if he can turn it around - Spanish fans can get very restless, very quickly.

He's 20 and far from the finished article but he's a bloody good player. He played a huge roll with Suarez and Sturridge in nearly winning Liverpool the league when he was just 19. I think you're being incredibly harsh. Young English talent - add £10million to the price tag + £15million Man City tax.
