Quitterall is an absolute bell end a man. I'm so happy it turned to shit for him at Sunderland.

What was the name of that player he signed for Portsmouth, Stoke and Plymouth who never really got a game Anthony something wasn't it. What no comment on the wonderful Icelanders behaviour? Strange. I dealt with Triggy and Ziggy being signed a while back it was their money that they wasted. Why didn't TP play hell at the time if he was threatened with the sack this is a guy afterall whose memory of whether or not he shoved documents down his shorts etc was called into question by a high court judge. No view on the regular signing of Anthony Pulis jnr by a guy who says above he only signs better players than he has

A high court judge basically called him a liar so I think i'll take with a large pinch of salt anything he has too say.

What sort of owners would leave a club with 12 players? They didn't they fucked off the manager who did though. Correct. If Boskamp hadn't come in, fuck knows what would have happened? And how enjoyable, Amigos, was that season compared to the sterile garbage served previously?

In hindsight, this was one of the greatest moments in the club's history as it brought our best ever manager to the club.

I wonder if he regrets that now? He said in an interview afew years after he should of stayed at stoke That's either not true or he's a two faced liar then because he told my mate at a recent Bristol City function that his only regret about leaving Stoke was that he didn't do it the day after he got there when he found that the budget was a lot less than he'd been promised. A victory for inclusivity.

Was he Wilkinson's carer? Wilkinson was an FA employee at the time he tapped up quiterall, Stoke should have asked for compensation from the FA and Sunderland, I can't remember if we did get any?

Errmmm his wages were a waste of money as he never got near or was good enough to the first team just as it would have been a waste of time taking a libel to court over a he said I said accusation. And it's very associated when you have a manager complaining about signing players who aren't good enough having clearly done it himself for a family member, then again he probably thinks irony is something the wife does.

But he chose the player as it should be. At least now we've established just how utterly shit the Icelanders were when they realised the fruit machine wasn't paying out.

Let the club rot !!! Fuck me mate it was rotten to the core and without them stabilising it we were heading into oblivion What sort of owners would leave a club with 12 players? Tony Pulis brought or loaned 36 players during his first spell. He was backed to high heaven by owners he publicly criticised after he was rescued by them off the managerial scrapheap, where he had festered for best part of 2 seasons. They might of been bad owners (or at least not as good as we hoped for) but Tony Pulis is grade A cunt.

The Icelanders took over at the very lowest point in our history. No matter what anyone thinks about Gary Megson's abilities, he'd have had to work a miracle to even get us in the play-offs without any financial backing whatsoever from Coates#1.
They pumped enough money in to purchase Staniuk, Hoekstra and Gunnarsson - our record transfer fee at the time, as well as a few decent loan players who wouldn't have been cheap.
They took us up, and then sold the club without trying to squeeze the last penny from Coates#2 - I suspect they weren't the most savvy of businessmen, but they didn't stick around to drain the life-blood from the club, as had been done previously.
Ultimately, we were much stronger as a club when they left than we were when they arrived. Twats!

Rescuing a festering, stagnating football pariah off the managerial scrapheap and then allowing him to bring in enough players to build 3 sides. What a bunch of platinum coated cunts they were. Thank the Lord good old Tony Pulis was around to tell us about them.

If it wasn't for the Icelanders we'd probably be in a similar position now to Wrexham. They were far from perfect but they were a different league to Coates Mk1 and Humphreys.

I think we should introduce an asterisk system, the thread originator is obliged to add an asterisk to the subject title whenever their thread turns into a Rimmer/Wankstain session, that way those that want to read or get involved can do so whilst those of a different persuasion can avoid them :D Personally I think it's a great way to while away an international break :)
