Hello.
Yes, I know they're treated with contempt by most people, but has anyone ever bought one of those matchday half and half scarves - either at a Stoke game or elsewhere? Don't worry - if you don't want to admit it here, just DM me. I basically just need to know a manufacturer's name if there is any label on them.

My mate bought one before a game last season cause he was pissed and he's a clown. He then proceeded to wave it over his head for 90 minutes whilst receiving a load of abuse from the people around him. Think it was Swansea at home but can't be sure, safe to say we took it off him and threw it out of the car window on the way home..........

I have one from the semi final against Bolton. I don't think they're meant to be worn, I keep mine as a momento to remind me of that day.

No, and never would, even as a memento. Would rather get my mate Tony The Scarf to have one made up, like the 'Scousebusters' one he did post last season/first game this season.

I would imagine as they are effectively using club crests without any sort of licence that they don't stick a label on it for that reason??
Might be worth investigating Abibaba or similar sites to find manufacturer.

I got a couple from the European games and the FA Cup semi and final. As iwebbyyy said, they're mementos - they're not intended to be worn but they remind me of what were brilliant occasions.
I don't get those who buy them for bog-standard league games which happen every year but for one-offs, why not?

I want a Stoke/Barcelona one I've never bought a half and half scarf. But when we play Barca in the Champions League final in a few years time, I'm going to get one for that game.

I wanted one in Valencia but kept missing the vendors and didn't find one in the end. I've got no problem with them for games with teams from other countries which are likely to be one-offs, or rare at least. For standard league or cup games they are the devil's work.

i hate them with a passion but I did buy the Europa ones, just have them hanging on the wall as a keep sake and would never wear anything like that to a game. can understand them for kids who may want a souvenir of a cup game but I can never get my head around them being sold at bog standard league games?
