God save our gracious Fence, And save the moon as well, God save them both. Naaahhhh. Sounds silly. i prefer "God save our country" that feels far more relevant and Patriotic to me than asking God to save a woman who does the square root of fuck all for her subjects when millions of them are dependent upon food banks, benefits and hostels while she lives in a Palace with over 700 rooms!

Apparently, Cameron missed his as well.
I wonder if it was reported in the same way?
Mindtricks can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.
The main issue, completely ignored by the brainwashing media, like the elephant in the room, is why anyone should have to kneel before the queen during some silly ceremony, in a supposed democracy?

The queen and her dysfunctional family mean absolutely nothing to me. I certainly wouldn't squirm across the floor like a slug just because I'm in her presence and nor should anyone one else. Some daft fuckers about. Ha Ha Ha...But yr beloved Corbyn is gonna have to...Traitor... Have to. In a supposed free and democratic country (cough).

Off to sleep now, but thanks for the lively debate, and for anyone who has any doubt about who your Monarch is, have a little game of heads or tails with a British coin, pretty sure it won't take you long to get the answer... Night all.

Would President Blair or Cameron be any better? Would any President be housed in a 3 bed semi in Stoke? What would any President do for me? All in all though, if Corbyn's a staunch republican fair enough. I can well understand his point of view. I'm sure most people do. The bit I'm unsure on is if this is his point of view or if he decides that as leader of the opposition he has to join the privy council, why doesn't he just come out and say so either way? As the straight talking honest man, if he doesn't sort this soon he's going to look a bumbling idiot just like Millibund.

Look at the attached. Go to page 7. And there is your answer. Just in case you can't be arsed I will tell you now. All Countries in the Eurozone do issue their own personalised coins ( Notes are standard throughout ) and all the said countries that are Monarchies do depict their Monarch. Hope this helps. www.ecb.europa.eu/pub/pdf/other/euroleafleten.pdf?985a0982cc26b6299d95ca2da9b7dc1d

Fair enough, seems more than a bit naïve of Corbyn not to put the story to bed though at the 1st op and join up? I'm sure his prior engagement was very important, does anyone know what it was?

The delay was partly due to there being no meeting in January 2006 and the birth of Mr Cameron's son Arthur in February that year. Hope that clears that one up.

Simply saying I'm busy is not a valid reason, however Cameron's reason was valid and no fuss was warranted or indeed made. Glad I can help.

The thing to ask yourselves , is ..... What shit headline or debacle will he be associated with next week ?He is attempting to win the next election I presume ....? Yes he is. Hence the shit headlines. He is not of the Establishment, and the Establishment control the headlines. And content. A quote from today. "Last seen on Monday in trademark brown jacket, whereabouts of Labour leader remain a mystery after he avoided kissing Queen's hand on his knees Missing: one 66-year-old, grey-haired man with beard. Last seen in public on Monday evening in an agitated state, wearing a brown tweed jacket and green-striped shirt. The hunt for Jeremy Corbyn is continuing amid growing concern he has disappeared. Albeit mainly in order to avoid meeting the Queen." No. It's not from Viz, but from that "high-brow, intellectual, quality broadsheet", The Telegraph. Apparently, this mix of opinion, exaggeration, piss-poor attempt at humour and lies is what is passed on to the unthinking weak-minded, incapable of forming their own opinion public, as "news".

Fact of the matter is if any of the The Queen, Prince Charles, Harry, William & Kate ( and I have deliberately limited it to senior Royals ) were to visit our great City, the public would come out in their 10,000's, flags flying and people cheering. If Corbynski were to show up, just a few of the great unwashed would bother to turn up, waving their copies of Socialist Worker, or Big Issue.. Fact is the Royals are a massive draw, and contribute enormously to our nation in terms of tourism and standing. The 2 Princes, Harry & William have both done active service, Harry especially, and his continuing charity work for wounded serviceman is something we should all be immensely proud of. Yes there are hangers on, but the same would be said if we had what some posters on here would welcome in a Republican or Socialist state, look at the Russians for instance, they are all in it for themselves, most, if not all, of the Oligarchs got there by corrupt and often brutal means.

This ^^ I'm not really arsed about the royals one way or the other mate but if keeping them pisses the leftys off then I'm all for it . The public by in large couldn't give a fuck about politics and don't care about right wing or left wing . Most wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between the treacherous Corbyn and the pompous Cameron and most don't care . Ask the average 20 something what the difference between labour and Tory is and most would think you are speaking another language. The royals are a different story . Everyone knows who they are . Some people are royalists and some are Republicans but most aren't that arsed , although I'd say the majority are more pro Royal than anti Royal . Star killer is bang on when he says the public are sheep . As long as me and mine are ok I aren't that arsed about the wider society . Would be nice if we lived in a perfect utopia where we got on and everyone shared the wealth and pulled their weight but we don't , never have done and never will do . That's the reality .

I love my Country, and I love coming home 2 or 3 times a year. The fact that I live and work abroad is neither here or there. I paid my way for 34 years, I served my country with pride, the fact that I sought a better life says more about me than it does about GB.
