Awful news.
Deepest condolencies to Mame and his family.
We need to show Mame that he is a special part of the SCFC family and that we will be with him every step along the way.

So very sad. RIP Mame's mum. The Stoke family will help to get him through this terrible time - and, of course, we will let him know how much we care the next time he plays.

OMG if true that's shocking news for him. Wonder why it has taken so long for him to find out. Presumably she has been listed as "missing". Amazing that Diouf has been able to play at all recently.

Really feel for the guy, lost my own mum in January and even though she was in her 80s, like Franklin said its absolutely devastating. takes a long time to get to grips with. Just let the football take a backseat as work is the least of importance at such a sad time. Whatever we all believe Mame has his faith and hopefully he will find at least a degree of comfort in that. RIP

What absolutely devastating, heartbreaking news. Heartfelt condolences to Mame and all his family. He will have massive support from all his Stoke family, inside and outside the club, and is with the best club - and supporters - in the world in that regard. RIP Mrs. Diouf. We are so proud to have your brilliant son as a Stokie.
