I was told Ba had some recreational drugs show up in his blood test and Pulis pulled the plug on the deal. May have been bullshit may be truth. That rumour started doing the rounds fairly quickly after we pulled out of the deal. If it was true, I doubt the other clubs who signed him after us would have touched him, particularly Chelsea after they'd been stung by the Adrian Mutu business.

Like i said mate may or may not although it was a mate from Alsager who's mate played for Crewe and turned out for another team that had an ex stokie in the same team who told plenty of stories of what used to go on behind the scenes at stoke.

There are bullshit rumours and then there are bullshit rumours.
Do you really think that the media wouldn't have picked up on that kind of thing about a player who's gone on to sign for three big Premier League clubs?
Give me strength.

Give me strength. players get given second chances depending on what kind of drugs it is goes on there record and if they fail again they are in trouble (this was proven when a newspaper got evidence it happened) and the player I'm on about played for stoke in the premier league and my mate is very good friends with the ex Crewe player so Chinese whispers is bollocks. How many clubs did Mutu sign for after Chelsea? Teams still took a chance on him. There is plenty of things that go on behind closed doors at football clubs just because your not privy to them doesn't mean they don't go on.

The press are in on it too, they're all in on it. The Premiershit gravy train. They'll publish what they're told to publish! Go on admit it even your puliscation is told what it can or can't say these days! Funny how you lot are all stinking rich these days.

Subs: Kurasik, Watkins-Clark, Moseley, Skapetis, Telford From my limited knowledge of the u21's, that comes across as a bit of a strange line-up. Surely Waring, Skapetis, Ngoy, Telfod etc are better forward options than Coban who i thought was more of a winger?

I love reading all the stuff on this website, but the amount of times people change the threads to other things just annoys me. When I saw Ryan thread and suddenly Demba Ba mentioned and whose fault it was, well that beggars belief. However, people have a right to put what ever they want on threads

I would have thought Telford would have started up front.

I've always thought Rafael Nadal lacked a little something to be considered among the all-time greats. I prefer Worcester sauce.
