Yeah, it's weird. Tend to think of '5' as a default score for anyone that's been on the pitch for so little a time as to make no real impact on the game (obviously if he scored or conceded a penalty the score would've gone up or down respectively). Not sure why I approach scoring in that way but I do tend to think all players start with a 5 and then go up or down depending to how they perform.

For me 6 is par. 4 is shit. 5 is poor. 7 is good. 8 very good. 9 excellent.

I tend to go: 1 - why he fuck does he bother even breathing because even that must be hard for him. 2 - hahahahhaha. Laughable. 3 - shit but some redeeming features (if I really think about it) 4 - meh. Ok I guess 5 - what I'd expect from a professional footballer. 6 - Some good stuff at times 7 - Enjoyed his contribution 8 - Bloody good game 9 - Excellent 10 - Couldn't have done 'owt better

Funny how we see thing I thought Affelay was solid enough and helped keep the ball well , just one error

The fans have voted Arnie as man of the match. Hard to disagree with that, although there were some good performances across the park.

I thought Cameron was excellent myself, but no-one had a really bad day. Charlie invariably running out of steam and the disruption caused by substitutions meant we were going to be a little ragged and Villa had to push, but other than the Richards header (which he should have put away) they didn't really come close did they?
