And after all that you will walk in with your £41 ticket. Rendering it all pointless. One way of looking at it..... ....... .....another would be that the fans lucky enough to be able to fork out 40 quid on a ticket make a stand for the much bigger number who can't. Ever hear that catchy motto "Vis unita fortior"????

And after all that you will walk in with your £41 ticket. Rendering it all pointless. Thank God there are people who are prepared to make a stand a gainst the obscene ticket prices some clubs charge. Reciprocal ticket pricing MUST be introduced. We should now charge Villa £41 when they come to The Brit.

I'm not sure a protest where you end up paying the prices anyway is the right way to go, protest then go home I'd get but I'm not convinced, I think it would take a nation wide non show to make anyone really take notice. I've decided to travel to the game but will be staying in the away pub if anyone would like to join? I am not paying £41 for less legroom than Ryanair and a shit view.

We should shame Villa by charging their fans 20 quid for the return fixture.

Who decided that 20 is indeed plenty?
And was the main reasoning for it because it rhymed?

£20 would be nice, but let's be honest, it's still £10 too much.

Being honest the protest in the ground was lost a bit on the day as the Stoke following were very lively and having plenty of sport with the Villa fans to our right.

I would definatley charge there fans what they charge us. Why should they come to our place for less? Yes not the fans fault, the club might take action though when they dont bring many supporters

Yes not the fans fault, the club might take action though when they dont bring many supporters The last thing we want to be encouraging is anything which pushes any prices UP and also divides and rules fans. The good thing about yesterday ( and today) is the joint action between fans. I would strongly oppose Stoke City increasing prices for the Villa game.

You're basically advocating extortion of fellow fans to line billionaires pockets. It's nothing short of a scandal.

Yes, the location for the poster ( on the gable end of the upper tier) wasn't at all prominent ( but at least they let us put it up, and the stewards were very helpful with that). Before the game we had some good shots of the 2 banners together with at least 3 newspapers taking photos. and there were sufficient stokies behind our banner to avoid any embarrassment on that score. Many thanks to those who turned up for that. I mentioned it in my interview on Radio 5 yesterday morning. For anyone who is interested the interview is 1 hr 50 mins 35 secs in on this link www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06d9wmh

Someone has got to take a lead and why not Stoke. If one starts the rest might follow. Perhaps instead of protesting at away games we should do it at home games in order to try and get our away end tickets reduced in the hope that other clubs might follow suit/be shamed into copying so that in the long run we will benefit. Just a thought.
