Walters stank the place out against Spurs for virtually every minute he was on. Why does he deserve a start? I don't get it, other than people like the fact he runs a lot. That and peddling the myth that he roughs people up. Walters is like a dog chasing the ball all the time, the dog tho normally ends up with the ball.

Arsenal must be really skint only offering a £ per ticket. Let's hope they're as crap on the pitch as off it ye for one of the best teams in the world they're going to be giving away way less than half cazorlas wages

Joe, I need to ask about this. Is it hope, expectation, a running joke or a superstition that makes you post it every game?!

Joe, I need to ask about this. Is it hope, expectation, a running joke or a superstition that makes you post it every game?! During Gudjon's reign we went ages without a clean sheet. And it drove me mad. One of the most simple principles of football is them 0.... and we'll get something from a game. It started back then. Now I can't stop. I've tried but I can't stop. A strange compulsion but, I'm sure you'll agree, better than being a drug addict.

Butland Cameron Muniesa Wilson Pieters Whelan Van Ginkel Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Joselu If Johnson is too much of a risk then I would go with this 11. Great opportunity for Joselu. Whether Bojan is ready? He'll need to feature over the next few games

Yes indeed were those 3 all out and chuck in suspensions for Adam and Affelay then we would be without 5 of our biggest hitters In practice surely at least 1 of the doubtful 3 will make the start line!

I would definitely start Bojan with Shaqiri, they hold no fear for big teams, if we're going to get even a point today then we have to look threatening with the ball, if they think they can get away with it they will be in our half for 80 minutes
We could do with V Ginkel having a stormer as well, Arsenal's whole game is based on dominating midfield

6-1 to the home side.
Our defensive 4 have behaved woefully when under pressure, think its all gonna implode during todays game sadly.

Against arsenal away, I think you need to tick 3 boxes.
1. Solid at the back, so we need Glenn to have a very good game in front of the CBs.
2. Creativity, somebody who can help launch quick counterattacks after we soak up the pressure. Ireland or Arnie (if Bojan isn't ready) could both play that role.
3. Pace. Arsenal hate playing against at the back. Crouch cannot start this game in my opinion. We will really miss Diouf, I'd be tempted to think of Wingie or Shaq down the middle to scare them. Joselu and Walters could play a role as hold up players, but don't have the pace to scare the German tree.
I think this is a fantastic chance to beat a very poor Arsenal side (at least at the back), before they get better throughout the season.
I genuinely don't fear anybody with the players we have - and expect a few upsets before the end of the season.

We need a full strength team if we have any chance

Arsenal 0 Stoke City 14
Glen Johnson with all of them, and after the 14th he'll somersault into the away end and gyrate his love length around Bayern's face.

It would be the ultimate irony if our weakest team in Premiershit history, physically, actually went and beat Arsenal. I would love it, fucking love it, if we beat them, just to hear Arsehole Wenger say on his post match interview how we beat them playing the 'proper' way.
I hate it when I think we will win as it usually means a loss.
2 or 3 - 0 to us.
