Are flags permitted in the away end at the Emirates? I'd like to take mine but do supporters have to seek permission to take them in beforehand.

I took mine a few years ago but they might have changed the health and safety rules by then

Shit yes, they're everywhere you turn in that place.
Oh, you said FLAGS. Sorry.

Anything which improves the atmosphere will be frowned upon. There's a kiosk in the concourse area which will be selling crossword and puzzle books so there's no reason you can't behave like the rest of the children around the stadium.

I thought that kiosk sold ipads and digital cameras so their loyal passionate fans can pose for selfies.

This is the view from the away section at the Emirates, or at least it has been on the several times I have been there. My biggest objection, and I have said it until I am blue in the face on here, is the sheer distance from where you are sat to the diametrically opposite corner of the pitch, it may as well be in the next Borough! Since no one has ever bothered to empathize with this view point then I must be the only person who thinks it is unsatisfactory. The last time I was this far from the far corner of any pitch I think it was that rickety temporary stand they threw up for the away fans at the old Goldstone Ground at Brighton which seemed to have been placed in a neighboring field. With this problem flags or no flags is something of an irrelevance!
