A nice summary. Can always look it up elsewhere but ideally, it would have been useful to have dates and times too.

Thank you, very informative.
Looking at Cameron's schedule looks like he won't be back until Thursday afternoon, presumably stay in London to meet up with the team for Saturday.

I do enjoy your website, mate. It is full of the useless, irrelevant information that fascinates me. Thank you and well done.

You do wonder if any of the travelling may have a bearing on team selection versus the Arse? im usually very wrong about these things, but I think/hope klinsmann only uses Cameron in one of the games. Preferably against Peru on Friday, that way he won't be playing his third match in a little over a week when we go to the emirates. The U.S. has enough defenders in the squad to have two completely different lineups at the back. Plus yedlin and jermaine jones are listed as midfielders, but jones has been playing as a centre half most recently for the U.S. and Yedlin is truly more of a wing back than a true winger.

Nice one Knowles! Makes international break a bit more exciting than just hoping Wales bomb out on their arses! ???

Thanks for the update. Looking ahead to Arsenal it's a pity that the last game of all these, USA v Brazil, involves the most travel and the biggest time difference. Hopefully should be just about OK for Geoff to be in the squad.

Slight update to the article.
Senegal are playing a friendly against South Africa next Tuesday. It's unclear at present whether Senegal are using the same squad as they are for the AFCON qualifier, but I'm taking a punt they are! Senegal's coach is former Stoke trialist Aliou Cisse. He played for our reserves at Sheffield Wednesday in the 2006-07 season.
Also, huge trouble for Netherlands after their loss to Iceland last night. Afellay spent 90 minutes getting splinters in his arse. Latvia's last minute equaliser in Turkey could be big in the context of the group though.

TASKTIME.... please find out which team has finished highest in each of the major European leagues with the lowest expenditure. Expenditure being transfer fees and wages as well. EG in the Prem I last season I guess it would be Swansea.

Stoke's monthly record is keeping me occupied for the moment...

Did anyone pick up on Diouf being injured?
He didn't play against Namibia (original article updated) and this is what his coach said, thanks to dodgy Google translate:
"The withdrawal of Mame Biram Diouf is confirmed, unfortunately. Anyway I think we have something to make up for the absence of Mame Biram. He wanted to play but we do not want to take any risks with him. We will not want his club to hit us. They trusted us and in return we have to make the player in good condition."

I agree nutterpotter, and seeing as they were playing Namibia they could afford to rest a player with a knock. Hopefully he flies back to England before their friendly with South Africa.

Afellay on bench again v Turkey. Pretty good team they have really, considering Robben is missing too, suprising how poor they're doing. Think they need Erik though.. Who's that left back?

Netherlands 1 nil down against Turkey. They really are struggling, aren't they? They are and it's where I regret my 10p betting plan. Backed Iceland as I pretty much felt they were definitely going to win but only with 10p (because it's what I do), they were 9/1 cracking odds all things considered. Didn't fancy Turkey as much but had a 10p anyway. 2-0 up now. The Dutch are floundering.
