We had two off at the Hawthorns in a cup game if I remember rightly. They were reduced to 10.

its a game I will always remember FM having been there and to be honest they deserved it No doubt they deserved it. We even had the ridiculous sight of 1 very small section of that away support clapping the team off the field of play. I would say that's about as low as I can ever remember feeling as a stoke fan

We only went because we signed lee collins. We'd been dicked at home by someone in midweek and we swore we weren't going to millwall. My cousin piped up "if we sign someone before the weekend we'll go". 12.10pm on the Friday, prestwichpotter called to say we'd signed lee Collins from Aston villa so off we went to milwall. Dear oh dear!

Look at that squad. From the Sentinel archives: City are without midfielder Graham Kavanagh, also suspended, for tomorrow's London clash, while striker Peter Thorne is again ruled out with his knee ligament injury. After one win in nine games they need a lift, and Little says: "We are not as bad as people are suddenly saying we are. We cannot be that bad. "We have had a few setbacks, but I still genuinely feel we can do something in the League.'' MILLWALL: Roberts, Ryan, Lavin, Bircham, Nethercott, Fitzgerald, Ifill, Bowry, Harris, Shaw, Neill, Stuart, Sadlier, Dolan. STOKE: Muggleton, Short, Small, Petty, Woods, Heath, Oldfield, Wallace, Keen, Forsyth, Mackenzie, Crowe, Lightbourne, O'Connor, Collins.

If anybody gets too depressed about a game in todays Premier League era, they should read that match report and look at that squad.
Frightening.

How many times have ManUre, Liverpool and Arsenal been reduced to 9 men in the last 20 years? Don't know, but since the premier league started only 10 times have a team been reduced to 9 men before half time, 2 of them times it's been Stoke
