when they were walking out of the away end looked like they'd lost the game "cheer up lads you've just fuckin won" i couldn't resist it to which i got back "yes but we were shit" .Got talking to another couple of lads back up to Hemheath and they both said you should be proud of your players apart from the 2 dickheads obviously.

Just read the Baggies' post-match thread and there's very little joy to be found despite taking three points at The Brit.
They've accepted they're not getting the Palace version of Pulis...

I thought we were ok, a wins a win and especially with our record against you lot but we are timewasters to the extreme. We played a passing game and almost looked afraid to go for a second goal to kill the game. Heyho, its 3 points and its far too early to jump to conclusions about how the seasons going at this stage. You'll be fine im sure, i think we will slog it out also.

He just has no idea what to do sometimes when the onus is on him to attack or to kill a game off.

Having your two 'fullbacks' in the wide postions on numerous occassions wasn't the people you wanted there but, of course, there was no one else. It was strange from about 70 minutes how you became nervous or perhaps just got bored of posession of the football. What was promising for me was we haven't lost our never say die attitude, which I have felt was ebbing away.

Problem is, pulis is very predictable away from home. Hes not interesting, and he'll try and hang onto the 'nick it' philosophy. Too right about the defensive problems, we lack serious width and four centre backs isnt the solution. Mcmanaman is actually pretty good but gamboa was wasteful when he came on. Wasted a very opportunity to kill the game. I think you can take some heart from your performance. There isnt much you can do when you have 9 men and you were resilient until the end. However, i am celebrating tonight and had a wry smile walking in the pissing rain back to the station earlier

Every one I saw looked very grim-faced. The only one who looked a bit chipper and bigheaded was about eight years old.

There was no respect on his behalf, he did a lot for us but it was both ways, the club bankrolled him. Before today I always defended him but he was despicable. Yes I am an extremely sore loser.

They were absolutely dreadful weren't they?
And it's not like TP planned to sit back when we went down to 9 men, he went for it. He put a second striker on, went with 2 wingers and 4-4-2 and they were still the worse side.

It seems that a lot of Bromwich fans are basically being reported as identical to Stoke fans, perhaps the wrong end was interviewed, easy to confuse them now. There's being gutted after an away fixture and then there's being gutted after an away fixture, you know. There's Baggies against Stoke and then there's Baggies now beating Stoke, so again, how much people are going to be upset because Stoke fans are upset with them may be limited or depend on their personal proclivities regarding Stoke City's staff and team members. I thought we were ok, a wins a win and especially with our record against you lot but we are timewasters to the extreme. You'll be fine im sure, i think we will slog it out also. No offence, but I was genuinely embarrassed for you. I'm sure they're alright. Lots of clubs give managers transfer budgets, that's rarely relevant or specific to the club. QPR for instance. To be fair, last season was decent at times for WBA away, from what I recall. That said, most managers aren't 'unpredictable' away from home, except for high-league fixtures and so on, and Stoke hasn't necessarily been a problem team of late.

He put a second striker on, went with 2 wingers and 4-4-2 and they were still the worse side. Still a gelling side. Was at the game against your friendly neighbours on Tuesday and whilst we didn't score, Lambert has a fierce strike on him which I'm sure will develop. Rondon is a worry for me. 12 million and didn't a lot apart from that goal, didn't work hard enough. Aside from that there's not a mass of goals for us, at least you guys have proven quality. Re similarities with stoke and Albion, I can see that personally. We will only win a handful away and yes there is a feeling of we've nicked it again like yourselves and shotton when he scored against us

Suffice to say it was a typical Pulis match. Had we been down to only 10 men I think we might have won it or at the very east rescued a point. Whenever Brom were on the ball it was dull to watch. Great performance from our lads, I'd be ashamed of Stoke if they played as bad as Brom

Always a pleasure beating you lot. Did you have a shot? And are you below us? St Tone is top notch. It takes a special kind of idiot to refer to league tables after four games. If my team had put in that performance, the other team's message board would be the last place I'd want to be.
