Ran his socks off, organized 8 men like lions. Hopefully the rest of the squad learned something from it. Especially Afellay.

Showed how valuable he still is today. Equally, Arnie showed just how frustrating he is. Looked like a man on a mission when he came on.

Tremendous game from Whelan. Was everywhere on the pitch and marshalled the team well.

Glen was awesome and showed some multi million pound talent what it takes at this level.
Hes our most important player at the moment. Imagine if he got injured? Shudder to think about it

I dread to think where we would be without Whelan. We'd have to spend a hell of a lot of coin to replace Whelan with a worthwhile improvemnt. There aren't many in the league who could do his role as admirably, with as minimal fuss and recognition

Utterly fantastic as were the magnificent nine. He's been magnificent since Hughes came in as manager. He doesn't get the credit he deserves!

Even before the sending off's he was dictating the game and looked like a £20 million DCM, after we went down to nine men he was simply imperious.
Great player.

The whole team was immense today, led by Whelan and inspired by that man possessed...Arnie. Ireland again played the super sub role, Mr "USA" was strong and Butland is continuing to show everyone his credentials for the position of No.1 England keeper!
Hey, the sending offs were right (unfortunately) we have to accept that. The only problem I have with the officials is that they did not send Gardner off as well.
We may only have 2 from 12 points but we will be alright!

I like Glenn as a captain. He really does a good job of it in Ryan's stead.

Glen has been in top form this season. I have serious reservations about Van Ginkel, although today wasn't a good game to judge.

Glen has been in top form this season. I have serious reservations about Van Ginkel, although today wasn't a good game to judge. I thought while technically MVG wasn't great, fuck me did he do some running and pressing. He will be fine, people are just over reacting.

Magnificent performance ,MOM by a country mile easily our best signing this century, and I don't buy into the opinion that it is only since Mark Hughes has been manager.
