.....when Aarnautovic blasted the ball past Ireland into the Luton half with no one within thirty yards of the ball ......?
He was absolutely fuming , with his assistant leaning his head backwards against the wall , eyes tightly shut in frustration .
You can't read too much into one off incidents , but I think Hughes was not impressed at all . There maybe cracks appearing between him and the petulant Austrian .
His game and body language tonight was awful . He didn't seem too arsed to break into a sweat .
Piss poor .

He was fucking useless tonight , he is so frustrating lots of talent but like Saturday he only bothers for half the season , too many players like that you are in trouble

Shocking attitude tonight. I'll take going through, i 've seen enough shit over the years to know how these cup ties can be, but bad attitude wearing the red and white. I hate it.

Like FM said earlier Arnie seems to go into hibernation at this time of year and the less said about his last 2 performances the better

Not his best performance but a similar performance from most tonight. He'll start Saturday. Nah. I think he just played himself out of the reckoning You think Moha is going to start? I don't. Unless his attitude was that bad. It looked more like frustration with himself and the ref for letting his man hold him up by tugging on him most of the match. I wouldn't read into one instance of hughes looking angry. You should've seen Bowen's reaction to Bardsley and Wilson for the goal going in with 40 secs left in the match.

I think if an offer came in for him MH would snap their hand off . He's far too inconsistent and his shooting on a par with that of David Blunkett.
Many dead pigeons would vouch for that if they were still alive .

I've already said what I said about Arnie's future at SCFC.
I was ridiculed last week for saying it so I'm not going to repeat it tonight.

C'mon ....What did you say ? I don't think he's consistent enough . (More likely to be gone this month than SJW). Said in a whispered hush. I think you could be correct with both . Infact , Walters body language when asked about his future was very non committal , as if he realised his fate was already sealed . I think Arnie shows glimpses of greatness but for the rest of the time ...below average . I could see both leave no problem at all .

I'd like to see Moha at least on the bench , the lad looks keen and Bojan with Shaqiri will lift his game imo.

(More likely to be gone this month than SJW). Said in a whispered hush. Will not leave, why would he and why would we want to get rid? Fantastic player. Because he's too petulant and inconsistent . He was up against a strong quick young lad tonight who was up for the challenge and he didn't fancy it . He thought he was too good and could get away with the odd flick and kick here and there..... His shooting is dire all of the time . (As discussed above )

It's the best thing about Hughes.
We know that to a man they bollocks tonight and we know Hughes will let them know and do his best to sort it.

I like Arnie and he is a good player. I cannot see him leaving Stoke anytime soon, and the winger we are linked with (yarmo) seems more of an investment rather than straight replacement. He does seem to get moody like Fuller though, but can't get away with it like Ric did with us.

Terrible at Norwich and terrible tonight (just back).
He's nowhere near consistent enough.
I look forward to having his oatcake fan club on my back again trying to make out that' it's purely an agenda.

I'm shocked that people are surprised his attitude and performances are terrible.
It's been the same up til March for the last 2 seasons.

He does seem to get moody like Fuller though, but can't get away with it like Ric did with us. fuller was a match winner 3 games in 5, arnie isnt, thats the difference. i said when we signed affeley, arnie would get his sulking head on, he did it last yr when we signed moses, he seems to react very badly when any competition for his shirt is signed, when moses was injured, he was superb, the problem he has is, he isnt consistent, and when he's bad, he's fukin woeful...lets be absolutely honest, its that inconsistency thats the reason he plays for us, if he played to his full potential every game, he'd still be at inter..... i said it here 15months ago n il say it again, his talent isnt in doubt,.... his attitude is... and thats the part that will leave him on the bench for more games than he starts.

I may be wrong, but weren't most people praising his attitude two weeks ago? As well as his performances?! "he's continued where he left off last season" etc etc.
Hughes and the club were fully aware of what they were getting when signing Marko. For all we know, there are personal issues that are affecting him at the moment. But that's OK. It's human nature to just tell him to f*** off rather than give him a rest/time out and come back fighting.
