I think Walters will play at Luton, that's why he's not playing today...of course he could be off! I hope not! Maybe all the contact talks mean his head isn't in the right place?

The difference last season was that we had Sidwell on the bench to cover for him but now (due to the number of signings we've made) spaces on the bench are at a premium. Having a second player to play that role is absolutely imperative for me and if we need to move other players on to free up space, then so be it. Mark Hughes obviously has more faith in Geoff Cameron than yourself to cover that role today if needed. Looking at the bench again though I can see where you're coming from because there was room for Sidwell on there (unless he's injured or unavailable for a reason I haven't heard)? It's more about being uncomfortable about breaking up a centre back partnership because of an injury elsewhere in the team.

It could EASILY be either chap, I don't know why you're getting so worked up. Personally I think he'll go 4-1-4-1 again but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he did go 4-2-3-1. I think your query re no back up for Whelan may point to a 4231, if it was 4141 I believe your query would much more valid Yep very valid suggestion chap.

Same as last week too weak in the spine and central midfield expecting nothing here and some more set piece exposure fingers crossed I'm wrong Fingers crossed you're wrong? Eat shot you'd love it if we lost, Mr Funtington Negative, you must be a right laugh at parties.

Yeah I'd guessed that was your main concern and I can see where you're coming from to be fair. It's not ideal and I'm surprised Sidwell isn't on the bench having looked at it again.

I can see it beeing 4231 but van ginkel getting forward a bit. Affelay beeing the technical player like bojan did. Coming deeper and creating things.

I guess there's always a possibility that MVG or Afellay might be able to perform that role but obviously there's no evidence of that yet.

I wouldn't put him in the 'hoping we lose to prove a point' type that you sometimes see on here.

It's really warm in East Anglia - so hot that the referee Mike Dean has declared that there might be drinks breaks during each half as the temperatures could reach over 30 degrees!

I think we can say we are fluid team these days in that apart from Diouf and Whelan we don't really know where the rest will play and if indeed they will stick to that position for the whole game.Probably not so the formation could and probably will vary between 4-1-4-1 and 4-2-3-1

He's looked Ok but short of match fitness. I think he'll do some brilliant things but will frustrate too typical wideman. Looks prepared to get stuck in.
