Hi Team. I would be really keen to get everyones thoughts on the 1 minute applauses. I hear many in the stands groaning now about these and comments of 'one a game is cheapening the occasion'. This is also reflected in a thread on the oatcake. While tragic reasons ate why these are occuring does everyone think it would it be better to wait until the end of year tributes or do the applauses?
I don't personally side either way, just keen to get peoples thoughts?

The first half yesterday was awful, we never got going and butland kept us in the game. In the second half Hughes made the correct subs to get us back in the game, Ireland changed the game and created more space for others around him. In the end a very valuable point against a good spurs side

John is completely wrong about Whelan, he's a defensive midfielder and he does the job he's asked to do

There was a quote from MH that he is hoping to keep everyone - diplomatic - I would think that Teixiera would go out on loan.
Depending on who, if any, over 21 player comes in then Odemwingie may need more time on a short term loan?
Realistically will Ryan be fully match fit before the end of December?
If not then maybe his space in the 25 is available - food for thought

We 100% need another xperienced centre back as we don't know how long Shawcross will be out for realistically. If we can get a loan deal then go for it.

New players, trying to work together in a new team, new country, will need some time to settle and get used to it all
I do hope that Shaqiri gets off to a great start
It is also a new situation for him

I think it's important that we keep our squad together now. Last season we had a very good season duo the strength and depth in the 25 man squad. Once the injuries kick in again we need a quality to come in and replace the injured players

How do you stop people clapping?! If you don't like it - don't clap. Absolutely harmless.

I think we'd beat Everton to any player head to head.
It seems their negotiation skills fall a bit short (re: Shakiri)

Wall or remembrance very good idea
Quite often fans have no idea of who / why the applause is for -
Something in the programme?

On the Knot FM website, there has always been a listen again feature allowing you to download the last show.
Sometimes, shows have taken an age to appear but appear they always have done, until last week?
Will this facility be back this week, as I've always downloaded the show to my phone so that I can listen at leisure later in the week.

Although never mentioned back here in Northern Ireland - one of our greats for many reasons - Harry Gregg also played for Stoke (once I think)

Did Raimond van der Gouw play in a friendly for us during pre season in 2003?
He definitely trained with us during the Belgium tour. One for the anoraks ...

Walters would love the chance to score against Norwich unless Shaqiri starts on the bench then he may have 45 minutes . A 3-1 win don't mind who scores

Speaking of former legends where is RF10 playing at currently?
Also worth a mention to our support as of recent. The Atmosphere has been absolutely fantastic away from home no matter where we go
