Right had a massive and big dilemma. Been a season ticket holder for as long as i can remember and been going with a relative for a long time. Also gone with relatives friends for a long time. The dilemma, i fell out with the relative beyond repair (unfortunately). This lead me to not renewing my ticket for the first time in many seasons. The thing is i'm regretting it. There are limited individual seats available in the south stand (always be the south stand) and the Boothen, block 21. Should i renew and go on my own. This is something i've not done before..go on my own! Really strange feeling.

Yes, go on your own. Don't miss Stoke City as it will be cutting off your nose to spite your face.
You may be on your own but that isn't the same as being alone. Everyone around you will have the most important thing in common, a love of Stoke City, so they will be like family, as I know from my own experience.
If you are unlucky, you can always change your seat next season, when you may be christening a new section!
Good luck and enjoy the new company. You'll certainly enjoy the team, at such an interesting time, say I, still breathless after the lads' magnificent efforts this afternoon.

I've had an individual seat before due to outside circumstances, obviously nothing like being with mates/ family but it's still infinitely better than streaming the match at home thinking "Shit I wish I was there..."

I recently changed jobs allowing me to have a season ticket for the first time in years, My brother sits in Block 15 so I went down to the ticket office the other week and there was one seat left in the whole block row 2 near the dug out. I honestly enjoy the whole match experience so much I forget I am sitting on my own so go for it youth.

'P' used to sit next to me in Block 27/28 - I'd never met him in my life before - he gave up his S/T 2 years ago for 'personal reasons', but we still text/speak regularly .... friends forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sit on my own with 20 odd friends who I only see at the match and who I had never met 6 or 7 years ago.

Last season before the Everton game I fancied a few beers in Stoke, I sit with my bro-in-law at the game but he was working too late to go for the pre-match beers so I went on my own, soon got talking to loads of different people, it's one of the best things about being a Stokie imho, everybody is a friend you haven't met yet, there are no strangers :)

Haven't sat/ stood on my own for years but my son is off to uni this year so I'll be on my own in block 24. You'll get used to the new people around you, some will get on your nerves, others will be good company. But you'll get used to there foibles over time and love them all. Get yourself back down mate it's what you love.

I was in the Boothen, with a couple of friends for a few years, then I had a ticket in the Q-railings, sitting on my own. It took a couple of games to get used to it, but gradually I met new friends and sadly I had to give it up last season and I'm now in a different place, getting used to being on my own again, but the old chap next to me is very friendly.
You will be ok, thats my advice

I reckon a Stoke City season ticket is pretty darn good value already, given who we've signed therefore, demand for tickets will increase spectacularly very shortly
- best get one now
And, as far as the club is concerned
BEST GET AT LEAST ONE BLOODY CORNER FILLED IN WITH MORE SEATS OR, SAFE STANDING ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
