Thinking of buying the away shirt and wondering what size to get. I don't want it to be skin tight, but also not looking like a bloody night gown. Anyone bought a small size before? How does it feel or how is it compared with medium? On the size guide it says "small" is right for my chest size, but I don't know if their size guides are accurate.

Im guessing there isn't many who are in size small shirts, I'm not a big bloke but I'm in medium ones and Im sure you've seen the size of some of the blokes at the game.

My lad is the size of an average 14 year old, the small just about fits him, it seems that this seasons offering is a snugger slim fit version. Which is why his XL Dad , here, needs to consider going down the xxl route ... I hasten to add that my sizing is due to my Shaqiri type arms and shoulders (Not just due to my Jon Parkin type girth )

If it helps, for the past few seasons I have bought the size up as they were always a bit small/snug under the arms, Adidas were shocking for the sizes (compared to other Adidas gear anyway which fits fine!)
However this year I have been able to buy the XL size (44-46 I think the size is) as I would usually buy for other clothes (cheap jokes aside, I am a tall 15 1/2 stone lad of 6ft!) and it fits fine. Not too tight, and deffo not to tent like that footy tops can be - its quite shaped.
Small is 38-40 equivalent isnt it?

Can't say how different small to medium is in the kit tops, but I wear small and find it a comfy fit and tight'ish on the arms. I'v got a medium cotton stoke t shirt that also fits sound but I prefer things to be a bit tighter rather than loose lol

Alas Robbo my buy the next size up at the start of the season, tactic back-fires ...as my Old Mums prediction of 'Oh You'll grow into it' proves far to prophetic, even 40 years on,and by the end of the season its rather snug

I am a regular small adult shirt buyer I'm 172cm tall with a 38 chest. The 2nd Adidas kit we had (the last Britannia sponsored one) fit me snug (ever so slightly tight under the arms) The same kind of fit applied to the LQS we had prior to Adidas. I did not get a Warrior kit as it was awful. The toffs retro size small was more between small and medium, but I loved it. Since my waist line has expanded, I expect the small to fit tighter, and may have to go medium Hope this helps RF93...
