Fill in the corners and we'd nail that.

We are as quiet as West Brazil.
Unacceptable.

1 dB = double the noise. It's logarithmic.

Despite how well we've done, there's a certain air of apprehension about the place. Depending how the early matches go, it could set in again!

I'm fairly certain we were only the loudest fans in our first season in the prem. Since then we officially haven't been.

We're getting worse every year. Shameful really! That said. How the heck are Man United top? Don't think we are anywhere near second either!

Fan re-adjustment to the different style on the pitch. Less of the bombastic scrapping underdog. Different. I'd like to get a heartily ironic 'We only score from a throw in' resonating around the ground. And I do enjoy 'Stoke Will Tear You Apart {Again}'.

We're very critical of our own supporters, but have you heard how bad the atmosphere is at pretty much every other ground?

Man U Now have a capacity 2.5 more than us, u would expect that, we still have a very respectable sound

I'm pretty sure when we were measured as the loudest in the Prem.(2008?) we were recorded at 101 dB, so apparently we've actually got much louder - which we clearly haven't. Baffling.

Think we got complacent and expect to beat teams so therefore we don't feel the need as much to get behind the lads.

We'll never get that first year sound level again, but we're still a lot healthier when it comes to singing than most other clubs in the premiership.

1 dB = double the noise. It's logarithmic. its actually 3db which is equivalent to a doubling in loudness. thus these figures suggest that Man u, who come in at 167db vs our 161, are 4x as loud as us. i cant believe that. it is of course also going to be influenced by where you put the microphone!

It's also influenced by which games you record and which point in said game. Not a very fair test really!
