Moha. No one is expecting to see him in the first team, but I can't believe he won't be after seeing him against Singapore XI. We will not miss Moses if he can reproduce that in the Prem. seriously? Think you will be dissapointed. He will be lucky to start 5 games all season Maybe. I think it is too early to say. Arnautovic (inconsistent), Afellay (injury prone), Walters (not really your flying winger) I think Moha could easily come into contention. In other news, Odemwingie is returning from a serious injury and may not recover his scintillating form. Our pursuit of the Yarmolenko/Shaqiri/other is not a certainty, I know Mame can play out there but I'd rather see him in the middle. Some shaky form and an injury or to could easily open the door for him and if he performs, it would be Hughes' style to back him and keep him in the side

No one is bigging Joselu up. He's my pick. Good all round centre forward with enough pace and ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play. He will make us a better team. Sadly he won't get enough individual recognition for it and most here will slag him off all season.

WOLLY
I think we might well have passed judgement on the fella far too soon. He learned some harsh lessons last season but I expect him to take that on board and be pretty solid this coming season. It was a tough season all round for our defence last season when we only sent the same defence out in consecutive games on a couple of occasions. Despite his problems (at times) last season, Hughes still wanted to sign him permanently so clearly sees a good defender there. Given that, and the fact that there aren't too many German Internationals that turn out to be 'poor' players, I'm giving this fella every chance to make his name this season.

Cameron for sure. He's the only player we've had not to have a break in about 3 seasons until now, yet he's still held down a first team role. It'll be the ultimate proof whether summer breaks help.
Johnson is getting ribbed but he comfortably held that Liverpool RB spot for a few years so I reckon he could be a smart move.
Arnie will be excellent if he keeps up his pre season form.
Joselu, I think he'll surprise a few.

Ollie shenton and the next winger/ signing we bring in That's a big IF mate haha Nah I'm confident, I had a feeling a signing was coming this week on Monday morning when I woke up and I've got that same feeling about another signing although I don't think it will be yarmo or shaqiri it could well be traore or someone we've not even mentioned.

Thrown in the deep end when he joined with no time to adjust but coped. Not the quickest but good positioning skills. I think he will shine this season.

I think that the two other players that we are going to sign will make a massive contribution to our season. When Hughes finally decides on his twenty five man squad I think we might see people like Sidwell moving on in order to get game time. Texiera will definitely go out on loan.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Wollscheid, I'm sure any deficiencies in his game from last season will have been pointed out to him by Hughesy & Co, and he's had all of the summer to work on them.
Joselu looks to be a very clever player, the type of striker who if he isn't scoring, will provide plenty of assists, but I fear he'll be this season's boo boy amongst our wonderfully tolerant fanbase for probably having a bad 10 minute spell at home against Bournemouth.
If we can keep Afellay fit, and he's still as good technically as he was before his Barcelona career fell apart, then we have a hell of a player on our hands for free, but, as with Joselu, he'll be completely written off on his debut, for not turning his fullback so violently that his spine shatters, before backheeling it into the top corner with his eyes closed whilst masturbating.
Those are my picks.

I would like to see a confident Charlie Adam. This fellow can pick a pass, and with better forwards up front, could play a big part. He will shoot when nobody else will, and I'm looking forward to him getting a consistent start this season.

I'd like to see him shoot less to be honest, or at least improve his decision making in regards to passing or shooting.

With all the new guys coming in we need a level headed goal threat from midfield to ease the pressure from Arnie and Diouf. It sounds silly but having Bojan not quite right for the first few games might just be a blessing in disguise.

Glen Johnson will be close to, if not the player of our season. If he's as bad as some make out on here I'll not bathe for a week, then smear my sac cheese on my head. Just a normal Wednesday evening isn't it?
