Daily Mail (arsewipe material) today features a two page article regarding Mourhinio's fears that Hazard will get his leg broken this season - and guess what is featured in its full glory - yes - Bardsleys tackle last year described as the 'bone crunching tackles on Hazard that make Jose shudder'. It says that Bardsleys challenge at Stoke last December was one of the worst, although there are a long list of offenders - not named. Will we ever be able to shake off this tag and is this just another jab from a London club to 'softeyfy' the game - dont touch our Eden, let him dance past you at will! Just as Wenger starts to mellow another shitbag takes his place, cue the Daily Mail to resurrect the dirty Stoke thread lest any of there readership have start to think that Stoke play good football. Twats.

No we won't be able to shake off that tag if Bardsley keeps trying to tackle like that!

No we won't be able to shake off that tag if Bardsley keeps trying to tackle like that! Agreed it was not wise moment for our walking yellow card but it was hardly a horror tackle and Hazard made the most of it. I just get sick of the reputation and those that fuel the fire. Does Hughes need to undertake a charm offensive with the press or ignore them and hope at some point they get bored and leave us alone.

Every manager fears that their best players will get injured. Mourinho is not alone and frankly I have seen Terry give as good as Bardsley in the past. It is selective reporting looking at it through the lens of London United.

I'm all for keeping the fear factor going. Make 'em think they're in for a bludgeoning while we clinically rapier them to death.
But it's all page filling pantomime bollocks ain't it? {Only Pochettino sets up against us based on cliche, most other managers don't fall for it surely.}

Chelsea are by far and away the dirtiest team in the premiership by a big fucking margin. But being Chelsea, and being from London they're the media's little darlings so can do no wrong whatsoever.

Well he got up after that Bardsley challenge and got on with running the game.

does it say hazard CHEATING DIVING SCUMBAG No, mainly I suspect, because he isn't. Have to disagree. Awful tackle but there's no bigger cheat in the PL than Hazzard always looking to dive at any opportunity and roll around. Of course it'll never get highlighted by the media..

It was more of a call of dirty Bardsley,not Stoke. But if we have Charlie and Phil and to an extent Shawcross people will keep using the tag. Which is fine. If it sticks in players minds then they aren't thinking about the game during.

Let them think we're brutal but then we win by a thousand precision cuts/passes. Can't wait for this season with our new breed of incisive passing dynamos.

Marginally bad tackle. What has the game come to? Marginally bad!! He clearly wasn't going for the ball, if he was he wouldn't have bothered going for it as he was never going to be able to get it, he knew what he was doing.
