They're filling the corner in, and don't want anyone to know, especially you know who!

During the period between the end of previous season & the start of the new one, the pitch at The Brit is usually dug up and reseeded. Not sure if this applies this year, but there is the possibility that the playing surface is not ready for a match or a training session. This happens each year. I expect the grass is grown now, but the longer it is left, the stronger it will be.

The Supporters Council seemingly said this would be a good idea in the last meeting (well done to them). However, they then got the standard fuck off from Scholes; Open Day The Council would like the Club to consider an open day before the start of next season, to fully engage all fans and get everyone excited for the new season. Suggestions were made such as: - Pre-Season training session either at Clayton Wood, the stadium or the dome - Incentives or discounts in the club shop - Fully open the stadium for fans to experience - Outside caterers - Fun activities for family and children - Meet the players - Competitions Tony and the Club would fully consider the proposal if it would be popular to the community and fans. However Tony would like the Council to remember that the Club and the first team have more commitments in the pre-season period then when we have previously held open days. The Club will consider the logistics and planning of an open day. For any further suggestions please forward these to supporters@stokecityfc.com. Yeah, just checked. Pieters and Bojan scored. The Pieters goal was a beauty of a move. And the first sighting of a Bojan 'get the ball on the halfway line and take it past everyone' goal. Edit: only slightly exaggerated for effect.
