They'll both be at Bury next season. Good luck Danny. Helped us to promotion and scored the winner at Thun during our European run. A good squad player who played in the FA Cup Final and pulled on the shirt 89 times in total.

My favorite Danny Pugh moment was the goal he scored against Arsenal. The same game where Ramsey broke his leg when he left it in while Shawcross was trying to clear the ball.

It's a shame his appearance in the final will forever represent the terrible paucity of game-saving options we had on the bench that day.

Yes, PotterLog. Whitehead, Pugh, Carew. I bet Man City were shitting themselves over that...

Yes. We only got beaten 1-0 by that lot. Amazing really! I agree what a privilege it was to be at Wembley that day to be absolutely smashed 1-0 by that stunning man city team , with the player we had on the pitch and the bench we shouldn't have bothered turning up, in fact feck it lets not bother kicking off this season and just let the team with the most expensive players win the league regardless (to be fair that will probably happen anyway).

A few minutes later ManC replaced David Silva with Patrick Vieira For me, it was John Carew. We missed Fuller so much in that game. If only we could have brought him on for 10 minutes instead of John Carew. What a player to bring on, and how much did we miss him when he wasn't there

You're literally describing the Premier League in a nutshell.
