Villa are in a spot of bother like; Given, Vlaar, Delph, Cleverley & Benteke gone/set to leave - spine of their team really last season. Despite a £40m raise in funds and a lot of room made in wages - it is a hell of a rebuild job for Sherwood

No it isnt. There was no need for that either young man. I don't know whether deleting the offending thread is classed by a keyboard warrior as an apology but I if not I reckon ones due. I will let him off. He's obviously a young boy, with a bit of a temper.

We've only lost 'Bego', Huth,'Ngonzi'. The first two were expected whilst 'Ngonzi' has always been 50/50 every season. We look covered in all three positions and our weakness lays out wide.

And with you's linked with the likes of Konoplyanka & Shaqiri - it's clear Mark Hughes knows that you need another winger

Somebody on SL&P referred to N'Zonzi as Ngonzi which given Steven has gone, I think is quite apposite?

It doesn't work though, it just makes him sound like a 8 year old kid.

No, I think the other person's name was quite clever! You might disagree? Reading your many, other comments, better an 8 year old than a 3 year old!

City's yearly reserve signing for this season signing imminently... They always sign some really crap player like Rodwell and Sinclai, basically ruining their careers and reputations! Sinclair was great at Swansea and Rodwell was deemed the next big thing somehow...

Assuming this goes through...it's just another example of the top clubs destroying careers with money.
Too many bloody decent footballers wasting away in the squads of top sides.
Delph, Sinclair, Vorm, Bego,...

You complain about changing N'Zonzi to Ngonzi but use Pwingy as your username? If you are so concerned about people altering real names, why ,like me, don't you use your real name as your username? Nice to see just a little consistency. Bless you

How is it pointing out your inconsistency being derogatory? Having supported SCFC for 52 years, I have supported the team from winning at Wembley to playing at Halifax Town and Leyton Orient! Constructive criticism is necessary and healthy. I said today I generally like what Hughes has done. I don't know how this can be said to be either derogatory or slagging the club off?

Christ, it's gone from a discussion about Fabian Delph to an argument about calling N'Zonzi, N'Gonzi. Jesus wept.

I don't rate Delph massively, but I actually think he'll get a few starts in the Premier League if they don't sign anyone else for that position. It's Man City's weakest.

Someone bought me a stoke gnome as a present. I named him Steven N'Gnomezi. Unfortuately he needs a new name now. Either that or I smash his head in.

Why the hell would you call a fellow Stoke fan a cretin just for a slight difference of opinion? It beggars belief. I thought I recognised that camel - great live band! And coincidentally a free new album by them was just top of my Facebook feed: wilcoworld.net/That's if you like the band and it's not there for the camel. Probably more off-topic than 'Ngonzi', but anyway...

Fabian Delphi is a great midfielder, he's finally fulfilling his potential he was showing at Leeds. He also seems loyal to villa aswell! Sterling should look at this man and take notes on how to conduct yourself. Fair play to Delph. If it's all about 'chasing the dollar' then Man City would have been his best bet. A bit of a breath of fresh air in modern day football. More like a bad case of halitosis now.

Delph, Sinclair, Vorm, Bego,... How about they step up and force their way into the team? How are players just suppose to step up? How does Bego become better than Courtois? How does Vorm become better than Lloris? How does Delph become better than Yaya? How does Sinclair become better than David Silva? It's about the top clubs signing very good top players as cover for world class players - players that have little chance of getting any game time but, could be excellent for clubs like us. They lure them with money, but if they stayed with clubs like us they could continue to develop.

He doesn't have to be better than Yaya, he has to be better than Fernando or Fernandinho and on their showings last year, he is!
